This was one of my favorite restaurants that I’ve ever been to. The food was incredible (get the beef tartar) and our server, Arthur, was the best. He even gave us some great recommendations for our stay in Edinburgh. I will come back here again!

I loved everything about this restaurant. The manager, I think his name was Leo, was warm and welcoming. The ambiance was cozy. The food was thoughtful and felt like love on a plate. It was a lovely experience from start to finish.

Perfect. Outstanding, friendly service. Best beef tartare I’ve ever had. Food quality was excellent.

Came here for a meal on Thursday night bread starters and main meal were exceptional but the dessert was not at all. We too the nectarine clafoutis I’ve never tried something like this before but from what I saw and tasted the pastry was completely raw and not very pleasant to eat. The waiter told us that it wasn’t made this way before then he didn’t know why it was made this way this time. It was not nice to eat at all like paste. The waiter was kind enough to remove the dessert from our bill after all so that was great. But on the whole everything was great just a shame about the dessert.

We went to Forage & Chatter for our anniversary dinner, and had the most incredible experience. The food and wine were excellent, the table and decor beautiful, but most of all the service was far above what I would expect at this price point. Our waiter, Matthew, and his team were so accommodating, treating us with care and consideration at every stage. They even brought us extra bread after I complimented the sauce, so I could finish it off! They did their utmost to ensure we had a wonderful experience, and it was the best way to celebrate our anniversary. We can't wait to go back!

Love this restaurant, service is quick and friendly, food is delicious and location is convenient. Well worth a visit!

We have enjoyed dining at Forage & Chatter several times and it is always excellent. This time we took two out of town guests from NYC. Everyone loved their meal and service was wonderful!
