   We attended the uncorked event on Tuesday the 18th. The wine during the uncorked event was fabulous. The charcuterie plate was barely eaten. We really enjoyed the previous food pairings a lot better than the charcuterie plate which feels like an afterthought. Our dinner at the Umstead afterwards was as expected, we split the burger and the wedge, both were yummy, but a bit on the pricey side. Also, the wine selection at dinner is always disappointing after the wines at uncorked. We’d love to see an update there. thank you!

   Need to start on time. If you start 30 minutes late and it lasts 1 1/2 hours we get done at 8:00. Can’t make a meal out of cheese and crackers. Very late for some to have dinner at 8:00.

   Lovely sparkling wine and champagne educational tasting. A Prosecco, British sparkling, well known California sparkling and 3 Champagne’s. Nice size tasting pours, good charcuterie presentation for pairing with the bubbles. This was more of an educational seminar vs a tasting. Very informative, I highly recommend it!

   The food and wine even to benefit western nc was amazing. The food was incredible and the servant hearts of the chefs and vendors was beyond heartwarming ❤️ Truly a wonderful evening for all.

   Loved this event! The sommelier was incredible, the wine and food perfectly paired, and the location just put the cherry on top!

    The food was beautiful and delicious. The staff is large but not really available. We waited a very long for one of the courses and it ruined the evening for us. By the time it was finally over, everyone was worn out.
