Fold is a neighbourhood Bistro and Bottle Shop with community at its heart.

A menu of delicious British seasonal sharing plates, with multi-cultural influences and a touch of North West nostalgia throughout.

Our drinks list includes carefully curated natural, organic, and classic wines from our favourite producers, as well as the best beers and hand-crafted cocktails to enjoy in the bistro at the bar or to go.

We responsibly source all our ingredients, supporting communities and using local suppliers where possible.

    The food was good although I felt it was a little expensive. My partner is vegan and I was a little disappointed with the lack of options and also we were told the vegan dessert was honey peaches which was a bit of an oversight as many vegans, my partner included, do not eat honey. We were the only table for an hour before anyone else arrived. We had booked at 2pm so I found this quite surprising. The service was a bit odd. When we asked about the vegan options (which was on my booking and I called to confirm) the servers explanation was a bit all over the place. Overall, I’m not sure I would rush back. The wine list was great and everyone was friendly, just feel like for the price point the service and finesse needs to be improved.

    As always the food was great. I did have to go to the bar for the beer I had previously requested at the table but apart from that it was a lovely evening.

    The food was excellent but the service was a little slow it was 30 minutes before we received our first dish

    We went for the Sunday lunch as it had been recommended to us . The price was ok to be fair . We just felt that the whole place lacked that nice feeling you should get when enjoying a meal Out . No ambiance , tables far too close ! You feel like you are actually dining with strangers. This is very uncomfortable! I asked for a large wine it was not large but the price was for a large ( so bit expensive ) . We had beef which was extremely rare which I appreciate for some people is exactly how they want it . Unfortunately we weren’t asked our preference so it just arrived that way .. we had in correct cutlery ( blunt knives ) so couldn’t cut it , ended having to tear the meat but gave up in the end and left some . I can see its appeal but for us not somewhere we will rush back to

    We ordered the lunch set menu and tried every dish. Each plate was delicious. The wine was excellent and the service was friendly, knowledgeable with the perfect level of attentiveness. We’ll certainly be visiting again.
