Fold is a neighbourhood Bistro and Bottle Shop with community at its heart.

A menu of delicious British seasonal sharing plates, with multi-cultural influences and a touch of North West nostalgia throughout.

Our drinks list includes carefully curated natural, organic, and classic wines from our favourite producers, as well as the best beers and hand-crafted cocktails to enjoy in the bistro at the bar or to go.

We responsibly source all our ingredients, supporting communities and using local suppliers where possible.

The Early Sitting is bookable between 5:30pm-6:30pm and you will have the table for a two hour sitting. We can't wait to celebrate with you all! Please note that for dietaries we will only be able to cater for vegetarian and pescatarians, please note your dietary requirements when booking.     Previously enjoyed Sunday roast here… not today roast beef replaced by bavette steak … sinuous and served rare ! Uninspired starters. Overall disappointing.

    Very good food, overall. The wait to have plates cleared was long, as was the wait for the next plates. I wouldn't usually mind, as I'd rather not be rushed, but the fact that tables were far to close together spoiled my evening. We had to listen to conversations on 2 tables of 2 on both sides, and even from the table of 2 beyond, where the Manager, on a day off, was eating. I honestly know more about these 6 people than I do about some of my family. The Manager knew the couple next to us as customers so we had to listen to lots of work chat, and be assured several times that "Christmas Eve is going to be a BLAST!" This wouldn't have been an issue if just one table was removed, giving more space. There were 2 empty tables that should have been used to spread people around. Service was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, and the menu interesting, but the chat level means I wouldn't go again. Toilets were clean but shabby.

    Superb food, never what you expect, beautifully presented. The service is always exceptional- warm and professional We live having Fold on our doorstep and go as the menu changes or for the special events, Highly recommended

    Phenomenal food - great quality in produce and very knowledgeable staff to support decision making. A great find and would certainly return if in the area. WI’ll be recommending to friends and family.

    Absolutely outstanding food and service. The only improvement to a truly excellent restaurant would be softer furnishings to dampen the sound. It is a little too noisy.

    We had an amazing meal! The food was excellent, every dish was 10/10 and we tried some new things we’d never tasted before. The service was excellent and the staff were very knowledgeable about the food and the wine. We had a lovely table next to the kitchen so it felt like a chef’s table. Would 100% recommend and return.

    First time we'd been to Fold. We'd initially booked for an evening, but bringing the kids, they were slightly uncertain about the menu options, so we changed for a breakfast. We were early due to the usual busy weekend schedule, but got in and were served quickly. The food was lovely, service great. We'll come back on an evening sometime - either with kids or just adults.
