We had a reservation for 7:15 and did not get seated until 8:00pm by the front door. The food was great and the servers were friendly but not sure I will go back.

The food was delicious—the little that was actually served. We were a party of 6, lots of similarly sized parties around us. Busy but not crazy. I’ve been to Fogo in DC and service was fine. However, tonight at the Reston location, the service was terrible. Started out fine, waitress greeted us, took our drinks order, then left. Our drinks arrived after asking 4 different servers, 30 minutes into the meal. We waited 30 minutes to get our first meat offered (chicken) and then another 15 for the second (chorizo). We then turned all the placards to green, thinking maybe they saw one red and thought we weren’t ready? But that didn’t make a difference. Servers skipped our table even though the placards were green the entire meal. Dining companion ordered the “premium” option, never got served the premium cuts even though we asked several times. We were only offered chicken, chorizo, sirloin, and cheese. Had to ask for the other options and even then, we were never offered pork belly, pork chop, or lamb. Table next to us of 6 college-aged men, who arrived halfway into our meal, were waited on hand/foot, with 3 or 4 servers at a time, the same ones who continued to skip our table of 2 women, 1 man, and 3 kids. We told the server we never were offered the premium cuts, they said oops, we didn’t realize you ordered that, but charged us anyway. Very disappointing, especially since the food we did get was amazing. Won’t go back.

Nice evening at Fogo. Ismail made us feel well cared for. The flavors of the market table were a great start to the evening. South American wines are a real value. Sammy is a fine host.

Ismael Nunez and his team provided us with top-notch service—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. His recommendations were spot-on, making our meal even more enjoyable. The churrasco experience was outstanding and all the cuts were really delicious, especially the picanha, filet mignon, flank, and lamb chops! All complemented by a fantastic salad bar. Overall, I highly recommend Fogo de Chão Reston for a memorable dining experience! And don't forget to ask for Ismael when you are there!
