Celebrated my husbands birthday here and it was great. All the food was delicious. We asked for the $44 9 courses of meat, which isn’t on the menu, and it was more than enough for our party of 7. Service was great, one person in our group had a gluten allergy and they gave them a binder with all the allergen information, very helpful and they were able to enjoy so many things including the cheese bread.

Our waitress took over 15 minutes to bring the chimichurri sauce after we were served the meat, and my husband’s drink took over 20 minutes to arrive after mine. We opted for the $39 per person meal, but it felt like we got more fat than actual lean meat. Before we got our food a manager came over to ask if we wanted to donate money. The food was disappointing, and the salad bar felt like something you'd find at an airport.

As a frequent diner, I was surprised by the lower quality of taste. Specifically, the sirloins (all 3 kinds) had a gamey taste, and the desserts (molten cake and papaya cream) were terribly prepped that the server agreed to take it back after we took couple of bites. "They are not prepped correctly" was the reasoning, but another server said their fridge broke recently. Not sure what to make of the experience.

all meats were dry. waited almost 1 hour for the chicken entree. it was also dry and def not worth the $41` we paid for it. after our waitress found out that we were not ordering wine, she vanished. They came to ask if everything was ok probably 10 times (became annoying). But somehow no one came to refill my water..always had to ask for service. Not worth the price at all!

Today’s experience was good. The wait staff were super nice and service was really good. The only downside was at the end of dinner, when it was time to pay for the bill…. When we first sat down, our server asked if we had any special deals or offerings that we would like to avail I terms of dinner pricing … I informed our server about the $39/person dinner price. And our server did not say anything. When it was time to pay, to my surprise… Our bill came out to $44 per person. When I mentioned about this, that was the only time the server mentioned that the $39 deal was not honored in the Pasadena location… this is my mistake however because online there is an asterisk next to the $39. I failed to read the fine print… please beware and read the fine print… $39/person pricing does not include several Southern California locations.

It was our first time dining at Fogo de Chão and it did not disappoint! Every meat we tried was delicious and of course we had our favorites after the first round. We appreciated the cold salad bar but nothing exactly stood out other than the cheeses. Everything else was okay. Speaking of cheese, the cheese given with the honey was amazing! I had doubts when I was told about it but I am soooo glad I had it! Definitely one of the highlights of our night. Our complimentary birthday dessert was also delicious and very much appreciated. Lastly the drinks we ordered were 10/10. Very refreshing and not overly sweet. The only thing I would say made our night less enjoyable was the heat. It was hot outside and though the air conditioning was on, I believe that because the dining hall is so large and there are lots of people and movement, it’s obviously hard to keep the restaurant at a consistently cool temperature. So we loved everything and we will just have to come back when the weather is better. Thank you for everything!

This was my first experience there. I loved the atmosphere there and the service was good, but the meats were overcooked and dry.

Food is outstanding .. some issue with a lot of well done meat . Just make sure you have to tell them if you wanted Med rare because most likely they will shaved outside meat which is well cooked. Service is great , you guys need to work on reservation system . We booked at 630pm but didn’t get seat till 715 pm .. that’s little agitated .. we started off at the bar ordered 2 Aperol Spritz ($18/glass) . At the table we ordered 4 Red blend and it’s came cold (umm .. no on this one) . I meant cold not chilled . Our waiter apologized and brought us back as room temp . I had sea Bass (delicious , well cooked , flaky and buttery) .. plenty of salad bar .. over all, it was great experience…we left happy … thanks again

My previous experience was with Fogo de Chao in Beverly Hills. Last night I decided to try the Pasadena location and I can say it was absolutely wonderful. The salad bar was exceptional with so many choices of which I sampled probably half of them. Then on to the meats served at table. All were perfectly cooked and served and the sides were delicious. We (my friend and I) had a couple of specialty cocktails...Caipirinhas - the strawberry and passion fruit versions were perfectly blended. All in all, excellent ambiance, service as well as all the food and drink and especially the service provided by Emily, our attentive server. Will return again!
