    There was only one meat server for our large table (a most of the restaurant) which meant the food was never warm, cooked to the desired level, sufficient or timely. Considering we spent nearly $1,000 for the table, we had higher expectations for both the service and the food quality. Unfortunately, the experience left us disappointed.

    My son and I had a fantastic experience for our Thanksgiving meal. From the atmosphere to the service to the buttery melt-in-your-mouth meats that were never-ending! We enjoyed the interactions with different servers and how they engaged in conversation with us. Worth the higher price from our Normal meals, this is a great special occasion go-to!!

    Horrible service, I took my company for our thanksgiving lunch and the staff was rude, they took forever to bring anything to the table and on multiple time had to request for service. Just very unhappy with the service. After telling the staff a manager walked over with an attitude closed out our check with out us requesting it.. Very disappointed…

    This was our 4th time here. Previous times were nice, and we returned to celebrate my wife's birthday, but unfortunately the service was terrible compared to previous visits, and meats were too salty. Our waiter appeared bored and curt, then apparently forgot about us. No one came by to check on us, refill glasses, pour wine or ask how we were doing. It was difficult to flag ppl down for help. The ppl serving the churrasco were rushed and harried. It seemed like they were trying to train new wait staff. Overall very frustrating and disappointing experience, w big decline in food quality and service. We will not be returning.

    Dear Fogo de Chão Management I am writing to express my disappointment with an issue we encountered during our dinner last night at your Paramus location. While the dining experience itself was enjoyable, an incident towards the end of the evening left a lasting negative impression. When it came time to pay the bill, my credit card was misplaced by the staff. For approximately 30 minutes, the staff searched for my card. During this time, neither my wife nor I received any updates or acknowledgment of the situation. Eventually, our waiter returned with my card and the bill, but the handling of the situation was far from satisfactory. The manager did briefly come by to apologize for the inconvenience, but no meaningful attempt was made to address the frustration or inconvenience caused by this situation. I believe that during such a prolonged and stressful incident, proactive communication and a genuine effort to make amends—such as a timely update or even a courtesy gesture like a discount on the bill—would have demonstrated better customer service. We expected a higher standard of care and professionalism. While mistakes happen, how they are handled reflects your commitment to customer satisfaction. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and consider reviewing your procedures to better address situations like this in the future. I look forward to hearing how this can be improved to ensure a positive experience for your guests moving forward. Thank you for your time and attention. Sincerely, Derick Causing Edit: 11/24/2024 initially gave one star for the experience given the incident however please see below in response to my grievances. Manager Dante called me the following day to apologize for the night before. He rectified the issue by giving my wife and I complimentary dinner coupons at a time of our choosing. While I understand problems do happen I appreciate the gesture by manager Dante. Will be dining with Fogo De Chao.

    The waiter's rude behavior was so unpleasant that I would never recommend it to people who are looking forward to making good memories on a special day. Why do we eat expensive food and tip a waiter who doesn't even provide basic service and doesn't even apologize to the guest for his mistake? Should I even give it to you? I think we give tips as a sign of gratitude because the waiter took good care of us and treated us well. A good restaurant cannot be created solely with good food. You can tell that a restaurant is a good restaurant when a friendly waiter supports it.

    The restaurant has great eye appeal. It has a high ceilings, modern decor and tables are well spaced apart. Unfortunately, that is where my positive experience ends. My table opted for steak only and I had salmon. Each meal included the salad bar. The lighting at the salad bar is very dim which makes it difficult to identify food items. Almost everything at the salad looked old and soggy. It did not make me want seconds. The salmon was served over asparagus. The entire plate was salty and floating in butter. The sides the table were masked potatoes, yucca fries and maduros. Everything was greasy and appeared to have been sitting out or under a warmer all day. The trees leches cake was more like a dense pound cake- like nothing I’ve ever had and not for the better. The meal was very disappointing. The prices were steep considering the poor quality.

    This is our second time at the Paramus location and we will be back! The meats seemed very salty last time but not this time. I had the Chilean sea bass, which was excellent! I could just have the market salad bar and be full, but the main dishes are even better and worth the price. My family had the full experience, as they usually do. We were celebrating a family member with celiac disease and this is such a safe and exciting place to eat if you need to avoid gluten or wheat! Also, the sangria is always good and pairs well with meat or fish. Our waiter was friendly and on top of things, and we were seated quickly, even arriving before our reservation.

    Lovely experience as usual. We had a wonderful waitress, May, that made it that much more pleasurable and enjoyable. Churrasco Experience is awesome, the buffet / market is great, the recommended Pineapple Mint Lemonade was refreshing and delicious, topped off with a yummy lava cake.
