Wanted to treat my wife to a nice meal so saved up and took her to Fogo. We always went to Plano/Dallas area when we went and everything is always top notch and food and service is great! We went and the food was good but service was awful honestly. We waited along with another couple 25 mins for a glass of water and wanting a soda. We actually didn't have a server and flipped our cards to green and the handlers would pass over us with the meats most times. When finally got our drinks I waited another 30 to get a refill as servers walked by and didn't get bread or potatoes until an hour in. The Manager David asked how we were doing and told him my frustration on the evening especially being an expensive dinner that I had saved for and kindly talked to me and wife and apologized and tried to help anyway he could with making our night a better experience but the manager shouldn't step in for the servers but explained his frustration as well. The meats were very good but hope service gets better and less frustrating but with David's help he did help my wife and I and two other couples have a better time.

We drove from Dallas to celebrate my daughter’s bd (she’s in okc). We were there at our reservation time and were immediately seated. The hostess noticed that I had brought a cake and offered to take it to the back for me Until we were ready for it. Food and service was excellent. When we received our check, we found they had deducted my daughter’s meal for her birthday. Totally unexpected but truly amazing. We loved everything about our evening! Well done!

This is the third visit we brought our neices from out of town to this location our server and the food still top notch however the gauchos where slow to come by our table or avoid all tigetger and when they did come we encountered very rude and insulting to my wife. We did inform our server who brought the kitchen manager to address the issues we had but now I am hesitant to have a party of 12 for my birthday if this is what expect. Our second visit was earlier in the day and was forgot by the staff during shift change. Great food but trainers need to come back

Reservations at 6:15 but we’re not seated until 20 minutes later. Abundance of food but the quality was average. Some items provided by wandering carvers did not arrive until we had consumed all we needed. Our bill was incorrect and it took a long time to get it corrected. It turned into a dining experience lasting more than 2 hours. A new restaurant that needs to work out the kinks.

They have a long way to go on service. We didn’t have a waiter or waitress at all. Others around us said the same thing. I’ll stick with Texas De Brazil. Go get a good steak from Mahogany or Bob’s for the same price.

We were there for about 2.5 hours and still wasn’t even satisfied the waiters with the meat barely made it over to us

We were giving this place a second chance, and we were wildly disappointed. Our server introduced himself and took our drink order, didn't give us the medallion to get food left, and never came back. We had to flag someone down to give us a medallion (we asked for the full experience), we ended up being Ignored by most the meat servers, by the end we had to flag yet another person down to able to get our check. We wanted another beer and desert but decided against it after being ignored most the night. When the meat was coming our way, the only cuts that were decent were the filet minion and garlic steak. Everything else was overcooked and seasoning off. We had to wave over the meat, or they would walk right past.

It was a weird experience. First time going. Didn’t get the experience you would expect from a finer dining restaurant. Seemed very overcrowded and loud. Music was loud and drinks took a while to come out. Food was great but it was more overstimulating atmosphere-wise than we were expecting.

Wide open reservations on OpenTable? DO NOT believe it. We walked in to a lobby with 30+ people waiting. The poor hostesses were doing their best. We could see empty tables. Restaurant has some serious logistic problems. Seated 20+ minutes after reservation time. Food was great, meat service was frequent and plentiful. Servers were charming. Our particular waitress was way out of her depth, we first saw her 45min into our meal. Other random staff were assisting us. We ordered dessert and didn’t see her again for 20+ minutes. Buffet was varied and interesting, food selections are on the adventurous exotic side which we enjoyed. Restaurant interior is beautiful and ambiance was great. Everything was very clean. Drinks were creative, generous pour. My suggestion: go early or late, before 5:30 or after 8pm. We will be back.
