We had an amazing dinner experience at Fogo in Oak Brook. Our service team of Brianna & Matt was on point, never missed a beat, very attentive throughout our dining experience. The manager Estefania was also present to check on us and our experience. Considering how full the restaurant was, it was truly a pleasure to see all the staff working seamlessly without missing a beat. We have had less than stellar experiences at other locations, so we were a little hesitant to visit. We are glad we did, and look to return, especially since this is so close to home. Thank you to the entire team.

Decided to go to Oak Brook after having been a frequent customer of the Fogos on LaSalle St downtown, but due to safety reasons chose to stay out of the city. One of the drinks that was ordered was a Manhattan which was served in the same kind of glass that they served the margaritas which was a small water glass. That does not work for a real Manhattan drinker. The servers were all very friendly, but the temperature of the initial sides that were served were on the cool side and the bread was over done and not even warm. The servers were not continuously serving the meats to my table, and at the beginning of the dinner 5-10 minutes would go by without being offered meats. It seemed that as big as this location is there just is not enough servers to keep the meat coming to the table. I found the LaSalle St location more attentive, maybe because it’s smaller. Also at the LaSalle St location the sides were constantly being replenished. Requests were made to replenish the sides several times without success at the Oak Brook location. Coming from NW Indiana it’s still a good drive, so we will likely be considering other options before heading back to Oak Brook Fogos.

My husband & I availed of the $39 Best of Brazil offer and it was great because they only offered a smaller selection of meats which was great because it’s the selection we typically get when we eat here. The meats could’ve used a bit more seasoning and one of the meats my husband got tasted like lighter-fluid and was deeply charred. Our server provided nearly no service. We don’t know if it’s because we don’t do the full churrasco experience and opted for the $39 offer. We felt like she ghosted us throughout our dining time. The only time she stopped by to check on us was to ask if we wanted clean plates and we asked her for more bananas and never returned with the extra bananas we asked for. She kept passing by our table as she brought drinks to other tables but never once checked to see how we were doing or if we needed any refills. We had another server stop by to check on us and we were able to ask him if we can get the grilled cheese. Even when we asked for the check, we asked the same guy to get it for us and all she did was drop it off for me to sign. We would’ve stayed longer and had dessert but the service was terrible that we just wanted to leave. As for the best of Brazil offer, it is a great option for people who don’t want to sample such a huge meat selection but we felt like it would’ve been better to be seated in a different area with other folks participating in this option because having been seated with others who were doing the full experience caused us to wait for a long time to get the specific meats listed on this offer. We’ve been to Fogo many a times and this is the first time we’ve stayed for 1.5 hours. Typically, we are there no longer than 40 minutes because the meats just keep on coming. But tonight, between the first 2 slices of picanha, we waited 10-15 minutes before we got more meats and by then we were getting full from all the pao de quiejo.

This Place is amazing. The staff always goes above and beyond to create the best experience. After trying different restaurants with similar serving styles the Fogo da Chao in Oak Brook is by far the best.

The lamb chops were outstanding, but all the other meat was not far behind. Excellent steak and pork; the brûlée cheesecake was a delicious ending.

They were short on food they hardly brought anything to our table even after requesting numerous time. Staff was not trained as they weren’t able to serve the meat. I’m a regular Fogo De Chão customer but this was by far the worst experience.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience!! It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we both loved the food and customer service from the minute we walked through the door, we had smiles from everyone and they were all very attentive. Even the manager personally checked on us to make sure we were having a nice time.. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant it was great!
