When you have to get up from the table to find your waiter to get the bill, and then it takes another 45 minutes to actually get a correct bill (server was Jose and cashier was Hermes), it does not make me want to revisit. We were a dining party of four, seated at 7:30 and tried to depart starting at 10:15. The restaurant closes at 10:30 and it looked like staff members begin filling their own plates to eat by 10ish. After waiting for my server to come by and ask if we needed anything or the check, I found my waiter in the kitchen eating his dinner at 10:35. It is admirable that the restaurant feeds its staff, if only from the salad bar. But if a waiter has customers still on the floor, he should still be on the floor as well. I think my waiter passed us along to Hermes, identified on the cashier on the receipt. He calculated the bill wrong so I had to go find him to correct it. Only then did our server return.

Loud, but we loved it. Did not like bei ng forgotten in the corner by serving staff. You shouldn't have to ask for a meat 6 times before it comes to the table.

We went on Father's Day and it was busy!!! Our table was in a great place to allow us to talk amongst ourselves however it was in an area where it took a minute for the servers to come thru with the different meats. Other than that it was timely seating, and service was decent for a busy holiday.

This location is by far the best in the area, mainly because of their service. The servers, managers, and food runners were absolutely amazing. They treated us with manners, checked in with us, asked us which meats we would like- to ensure we got a complete selection of the menu. Liam and Daniel were our servers and they were extremely pleasant, attentive, kind, and fast - definitely made the service superior! The food quality was amazing and fresh. Other locations repeat the same meats but this location kept serving us with the full range of meats. The restaurant was very clean and they were very fast to clean the tables that were finished. I was impressed with the hard work of the managers as well, as they helped out the rest of the team. We were one of the later reservations, closer to closing but that did not affect the quality of food or service - again, one of the best locations we have been to!

I was very disappointed that they no longer have the original flan. I have eaten at Fogo all over snd this was the first time I was disappointed . Mashed potatoes were runny snd grainy , done of the meat was so over cooked it was dry. The service however remains top notch.

The salad buffet at Fogo de Chão remains one of the very best seats in Washington, DC today! The selection is quite broad, and all the food is fresh and delicious. The Brazilian (Portuguese) black bean stew, the applewood smoked bacon, and the soup du jour are perennial favorites. They always are good. Beyond that is the wide selection of different types of salads — it would be very difficult not to be able to find something one likes. Above all that is the wonderful staff at the restaurant. Every staff member is cheerful, polite, and ready and willing to help the customer. A welcome exception to the experience in many restaurants! This is a credit to the management. A great place for lunch or dinner! Don’t miss it!
