Le restaurant est parfaitement localisé pour servir les habitants de la ville et les visiteurs, alors que tous leurs sens sont sollicités dans ce quartier animé qui tient plusieurs festivals. Le Fogo de Chão est un steakhouse brésilien authentique - une churrascaria – et est devenu une référence au Brésil depuis 1979. Aujourd'hui, les chefs « gauchos » manient toujours aussi habilement le gril et taillent à votre table chacun des délectables morceaux de viande : la coupe picanha (surlonge de spécialité), le filet mignon, le faux-filet, la coupe fraldinha (la surlonge brésilienne), le cordeiro (l’agneau) et plus encore. My husband and I went for Veterans Day & it was an actual madhouse, we waited 40 minutes past our reservation to find out they packed the restaurant with more tables than any of the staff or guests could handle. It felt like a food hall cafeteria & the poor staff were clearly overwhelmed and unable to provide even basic service. We sat down, went to the salad bar & when we came back our water had spilled onto our table, ice everywhere , the staff cleaned it up but it was just a mess. Staff members tried to bring high chairs through our area which we ended up having to lift over our table. There was barely any room to walk straight between the tables we had to squeeze through. It felt like a money grab for the company or management or whoever made the decision to seat more than the staff could handle. It completely destroyed the experience & we made the decision to leave before eating. We were excited to try this concept of dining but the ambiance and overall experience of how many people were crammed into this restaurant was cheap, tacky, overwhelming & an insult to the guests who made reservations to celebrate the holiday.

Rafael provided a GREAT first experience!! We were thrilled with the food and the Happy Hour drink menu was an added plus! You can get Happy Hour in the restaurant and it was all night! The meats were so tasty and the salad bar was incredible. Thank you Rafael for making our first experience one to remember and thank you for the excellent service! We will be back!

Asked for the smoked cheese and lamb chops quite a few times and took at least 20-30 mins. The cheese was cold and the lamb child weee well done.

The service was not great. Everyone was very friendly but as an example, my boyfriend ordered a beer twice and both times it took more than 30 minutes for us to get it. The cheese and honey only came around once and only after the table next to us requested it. Other than that, we requested it three times and it never came back around. We were there to celebrate his birthday and our anniversary and were offered free dessert, but everything took so long that we actually chose not to order them and just asked for the check. Also, the bathrooms needed some serious attention.

On my reservation, I specifically wrote best of Brazil special, when I got to the restaurant, the host notified me that they saw the note for the special and was told to remind my waiter as well. When the waiter came to get our drink order, we told them about the special and they acknowledged it and brought us a different set of red/green cards to indicate that we were doing the special. Upon receiving the bill, not noticing we got charged full price and didn’t realize it until we got home. This is not the first time this happened and I’m starting to think that it is snuck in purposely and they get away with it often when people don’t notice. Update: I did infact contact you guys not once but twice through the website and still haven’t had a response.

The food made me sick, we had to leave 35min into our meal, unfortunately I am in my soon now sick to my stomach.. First complaint aside from that when I made my reservation for the best of Brazil for $39 inwas not told majority of the beef " filet mignon, house special or any steak really " was not included. So we purchased the more experience all you can eat experience and in the time we were there none of those prime cuts were even offered! Horrible experience, not worth the $200 I'm never returning again!

This is my favorite restaurant right now in San Diego. I like to eat a lot of meat and this place allows me to do that. Tons of variety! The service here is really good! You can have a bad day anywhere depending on if the restaurant is understaffed or not, but last night they definitely were not understaffed and we had an amazing experience!

The website states vallet parking and they no longer offer vallet, so you have to park over 3 blocks away and pay $10 per hour for parking. The tables are too close together which makes it difficult for the servers to bring your food. The meat selection is great and the quality is good. It seems like the pace of brining the various meats is overwhelming and they need to pace it so that you can enjoy a slice before they bring you 3 more selections. By the time you get to taste all 4 meats they are now cold and you don’t get the flavor of “ hot off the grill”. A slower pace would make the experience much more enjoyable!

The experience was too overwhelming. There would be 3-4 staff at your table at all times. Hard to take a break and enjoy the food. . And yes I turned my card red occasionally but they would still act like vultures and assume something was wrong. I think I spent more time saying no thank you or we are find than actually eating. More the meat was under seasoned and not impressive.
