Fogo in Portland is very active during the evening hours for which I woukd always recommend making a reservation. Their Market Table is a buffet style bar filled with cold cut meat, cheeses, legumes, salads, olives and other precooked vegetables that is included with an entree purchase, the Churrasco experiences or can be purchased alone. This us usually my first choice for a special celebration and usually reserve this dining location as an outing without children, although children are welcome. The service is usually average to me and most recently encountered an issue in which I was charged more than what I authorized on my check. I returned the next day to inquire about the charge and my encounter with the manager was not what I expected, he offered a dry apology and said I would be refunded the difference in 3-4 days. I certainly expected the manager to express a sincere interest or curiosity in how such a mistake is made, along with a genuine apology for the inconvenience. I believe that the manager could have refunded the cost of the meal entirely or a refund of the difference along with a gift card toward a next visit. In my opinion the customer service could have been better considering this restaurant status.

We didn't wait that long,the staff were all kind and very polite.The food was great and so was the ambience.I enjoyed every bit of it.

Decent trip to Fogo. My biggest issue is that the last 3 times I’ve been there, we weren’t seated for almost a half hour after our reservation. The other problem we had was that some of the servers never made it to us with the specialty items like the beef ribs. Besides that everything was solid. Food was good and the service was decent

They always late every time I go on time or before the reservation, they will be late Also, first time when I walk in the lady who was taking the reservation she was very, very rude with me for no reason

Great food and great service. Drinks were perfect not to strong, food was amazing. I would go hungry and try everything.

We have enjoyed our meals there a number of times, and the food was very god again. This time the service was slow coming around. Also, we were celebrating my adult son's birthday. We called ahead to make sure all was well if we brought a birthday cake. They said yes, what they didn't say was they charged a $35.00 fee to do so. It's not the charge that was the problem but not being told about it when originally asking. We went elsewhere for drinks and enjoyed the cake at no additional cost.
