Le Fogo de Chão® (prononcé fo-go dèe shoun), est un authentique steakhouse du sud du Brésil. I must of came in at the tail end of rush hour and had to wait quite a while to be served any meat. I am thankful for the manager by the name of Jessica who noticed and approached me kindly to see how everything was going. Big shout out to her for enhancing my experience.

I taster lamb for the second time to see if I would like it because i want to like it so bad! Unfortunately, it’s too gamey for me! But the part I didn’t like about the rest of the food is all the other red meat tasted gamey as well!! We are huge steak eaters, and every piece of meat tasted just as gamy as a lamb! I’m not sure why maybe they cook it on the grill, but it was not good. I was very disappointed.. The service was great and the drinks were very good. I had two margaritas the side up at the salad bar were OK some very good like the potato salad and some things were wilted like the Caesar salad and the arugula salad. overall, it’s just OK. We will never go back for the price that we paid.

Had a group of 18 for dinner and Vanessa helped guide me on what might work best for a group that size. They provided two tables (great location) and the service was solid. The salad bar was incredible and the meats were delicious. Everyone seemed to enjoy the evening.

As a Brazilian, I was pretty disappointed with the food in the restaurant. Before I get to that, the service was excellent. Everyone was extremely polite and very attentive. The atmosphere of the restaurant was classy and well-organized. However, the food was a shock. Considering what Brazilian churrasco should entail, this was a significant disappointment. The meat could have been better; most cuts were chewy and salty. The buffet options lacked traditional Brazilian sides. Having lived in the US for years, I wanted food that reminded me of home. Instead, the food was nothing more than okay. However, I do have to highlight the pao de queijo and the freshness of the leaves and fruit.

This was my third visit and was just as enjoyable as previous visits. The food was delicious, as were the drinks. But I think what my companions and I enjoyed the most was the fabulous service and happy vibe.

The service was excellent. Our waitress worked so hard and so did the men carrying the meat. It was a great experience. The food was excellent. The salad bar was amazing. The melted cheese was so good along with the sirloin. Our guests raved about the Parmesan encrusted pork. Even the chicken was tasty. Really a treat.
