Le Fogo de Chão est un Steakhouse brésilien de premier plan, ou churrascaria, qui est spécialisé depuis plus de 35 ans dans les viandes de première qualité rôties au feu en utilisant la technique séculaire du churrasco provenant de la cuisine brésilienne du sud. Il propose une grande variété de viandes assaisonnées avec simplicité et délicatement rôties afin de révéler leurs arômes naturels, incluant la spécialité maison le Picanha, à base d'aloyau, du filet mignon, du faux-filet et des côtelettes d'agneau pour n'en citer que quelques-unes. The waitstaff, food, and atmosphere were outstanding. We live in Houston and have been to Fogo many times there but this was our first experience at the New Orleans location. They did not disappoint. Everything was wonderful and we will definitely return there on our next visit to The Big Easy!

I recently visited Fogo de Chao for my birthday, and while the overall experience was enjoyable, there were a few aspects that kept it from being a perfect 5-star evening. I want to thank the manager for promptly addressing the concerns we had during our visit. It was reassuring to see that feedback is taken seriously. The food was quite good, and some dishes truly stood out. However, the service was inconsistent. While some staff members were attentive and pleasant, others were not as welcoming, which affected the overall atmosphere. Additionally, a bit more attention to the small details in the décor could enhance the dining experience. Despite these minor issues, I still had a memorable evening and would recommend Fogo de Chao for a nice meal. With a few improvements, I’m sure it could become a top dining destination. I look forward to giving it another try in the future.

Good special on ‘tastes of Brazil’. Hostess was friendly and accommodating to change reservation time to get in earlier. Delicious salad bar and churrasco meats. Server was friendly as well although a bit overwhelmed as they were quite busy

Definitely not worth the money. Serving was below average. We went in for the $39 dollar dinner special only to find out it didn’t include Filet (which was terrible) lamb chops(which it took 30 minutes for them to bring to the table) Ribeye and one other meat So we each paid $62 and didn’t even get all the meats until the very end when we were no longer able to enjoy. The filet was disgusting. Can’t even tell you what that taste was but never had a bad filet in my life The lamb “steak” was like chewing on rubber, so tough!! The salad bar was ok but had several items that stayed empty for longer than they should have with a packed house. I could go on and on but I will just say.. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Too many other options in NOLA to throw away money on this place SO DISAPPOINTED

The service was spectacular. It was my boyfriend‘s birthday and they treated us like royalty. The food was amazing.

We enjoyed our experience at Fogo De Chao! Only thing I was dissatisfied with was that I put in our notes that it was a birthday and I had to remind them several times. We got seated right by the checkout computer so we were constantly getting bumped into where we were seated. Overall we had a good experience & the food was outstanding!

This place is an embarrassment. Went there to celebrate a birthday. The waitress talked up the “premium” experience and one of our diners doesn’t particularly like any steak but filet so we all got that, except we never actually got it. Even after we asked the waitress AND the manager. It was like the filet guy wasn’t working that night. We also never got an offer for a second round of drinks, an opportunity to order wine, or even a refill for water. Even after we asked. And then our waitress left (we saw her with her purse and asked if she was leaving. She said she’d be back but she never came back). It was like eating in the Twilight zone. The sausage, Parmesan pork, flank steak, and pork bellies were good. I can’t really comment on anything else because we never got it. We kept asking but the pork belly guy kept coming back. After 2.5 hours we were done and had to flag someone down to get the check, which took another 15 minutes. No mention of desert, coffee, or an after dinner drink, or of the birthday we were there to celebrate. I am absolutely mortified that my business takes clients here sometimes after meetings. It was truly a poor experience and massive waist of $400. Go to Desi Vegas or Ruth’s.

The biggest issue we had was that it took forever for us to get the potatoes, and then we specifically asked for certain meat, and it kept passing us by. Also, the meat is cooked very rare, and it was too rare for me so I had to avoid the beef which is sort of the whole point of a steakhouse. It took forever for us to get our check. Our waitress was pleasant
