Le Fogo de Chão est un steakhouse brésilien authentique - une churrascaria – et est devenu une référence au Brésil depuis 1979. Great service which made the experience great but I had made eye contact with multiple meat servers to be ignore and our table skipped. Alex, our server, made all the difference though. Getting people to visit our table with meat and making sure we had everything we needed.

The events at Fogo in Minneapolis are excellent. Derrick and his team do a wonderful job preparing for a great event. The bar event "Wagyu & Wine" surpassed my expectations. It was very well attended (60 people!) and yet it was smooth. There was table seating (we were unsure about this at a bar event...expected standing tables) which was top notch! The food was good. Would have been nice to have a few more "bar bite" selections as Fogo does some great food and probably would not have hurt to have one more server helping out, but all in all, the value for the money was there. We'll be back now that we know how it's run; good food, good wine and tables!

The food was stellar as usual. The service however was sub par at best. Meat selections initially were well timed. As the meal progressed those selections were few and far between. We waited 15+ minutes for our bill then an other 10+ minutes to have the credit card run. Very disappointing meal.

The meat was fatty, greasy and had no flavor. Our service was horrendous and we had to ask for help. The desserts still tasted frozen. 🤷‍♂️

Our reservation was at 7:15, never got seated, they seated people who arrived after us, 15 minutes passed, so we left. What is the point of reservations if we don’t get seated at that time? Why not mention the name that’s under the reservation instead of asking “oh reservation for two?” And then taking random people. Makes no sense. First bad experience.

Normally I think of “excellent service” when I think of Fogo. This experience was completely different. The serving team was friendly, but barely came to our table. We finished our drinks and the empty glasses sat on our table for the rest of the meal. We had to get our own plates from the salad bar. Our waters were only refilled after we tracked down a waiter and asked. Everyone at tables around us also had empty glasses and were not being attended to. The same five meats kept coming around over and over, and the other options on the menu we never saw until the very end when we tracked down a waiter to ask. We did not receive the starters (mashed potatoes, fried bananas, etc.) until an hour into the meal. Our problem was with the service. The salad bar food was very good and had good options - and the meats we did get tasted good but were a bit on the dry side.

Food was decent. Waiter disappeared for long stretches of time. We ran out of water, had to find a waiter to order dessert.
