Take my advice and pass on dining here for a holiday. This is our second time dining here with the same result - an extended wait past your reservation time. My guess is they double, if not triple book, their reservations on holidays. Our party of 3 arrived a few minutes before our reservation time and checked in. We waited 50 minutes for our table. The check in team was more than aware there was an extended wait time past the reservation, and they never said so, or provided an expected or anticipated wait time. It’s a personal pet peeve when businesses can’t attempt to manage a customer’s expectations. Tell me it’s going to be a 40-50 minute wait and we know what we are in for, and whether it’s doable for our party. Once seated, we had wonderful service by Kate which was great after the long wait. She kept our glasses full, and appetizers on the table. The salad bar was badly picked over and a second trip didn’t yield refills from the missing items the first pass through. The meats came in large bursts rather than a flow of servers. If it wasn’t for the great service it wouldn’t have been as enjoyable as it wound up being. However we now know the process for holidays and we won’t be back again on a holiday for sure.

NEGATIVES: 1) Reservations - Are a joke. Entrance and any area to stand, including stairs, were packed with people. They certainly couldn't all have reservations. Our wait was extensive. I requested Main Room dining when I made the reservations in November. We were seating upstairs. 2) Food should be labeled, especially salad dressings and sauces. Absolutely nothing is labeled. 3) Soup was lukewarm, at best. There were no beans. 4) We asked about potatoes and the server said they were low so they were keeping it in the kitchen. POSITIVES: The servers were pleasant and were readily available when we were ready for more meat.

Unfortunately, Fogo is not prepared to provide the quality of their food during holiday service. The meats were barely cooked and almost every single one was so rare and lukewarm,it might as well have been fresh from the source. The sides were horrible; the mashed potatoes which were so gummy, it reminded me of a 1st grade craft project. Their cheese bread were cold, as were the bananas. Love this place but they need to limit their reservations on a holiday to a number they can provide their usual high quality food, or limit their menu so that the staff can cook to the normal standard.

We had a person using a walker with us so I requested an easily accessible table and the host rolled his eyes; we were in a side dining room and did not receive many of the protein options and had to flag down someone to request some of what did finally come by our table. There were some servers who were very attentive.

Our reservation was at 4 but we didn’t get seated until 430/445, understanding that it’s a holiday but that’s a long time past reservation. Once we were seated our waitress was there promptly to take orders and tell us how things worked. It took a while for the people with meats to come around and our table was often skipped. After letting staff know it still took a long time before getting meats and we were often skipped. At this point we were just ready to go. This was our first time at this location.

Had several servers pass our table for unknown reasons. Looked right at us many times and kept going. Very poor service. First Christmas we went a couple years ago, was a very nice experience. This one was not and will not return.

We love coming here as a family! Food and service are great! Our Server, Sarah, was amazing. We just didn’t understand why we couldn’t get a To go box for the pork belly we waited for for a very long time! By time they served us, we were too full. We didn’t want to waste the food so we asked if we could take it home. We would have been very discrete because we understand it would set a bad precedent. We took the food anyway and left a very large Christmas tip! Merry Christmas and please consider making decisions on a case by case basis in the future? Thank you!

We were seated against the wall with a clear view of the outdoors, which was perfect. Being a holiday, we anticipated it to be busy, but it took our server a while to get to us and it was exceptionally noisy. That said, there was a very pleasant gentleman who was attentive in noticing that and helped expedite the process. Everyone at our table opted for the full churrasco experience. Most of the meat cuts were delicious, but a couple could have been better seasoned. The buffet selections were perfect and always adequately stocked. Our drinks were kept topped off. We did not order dessert. The only complaint we really had was that you cannot take the leftover items on your table which were served with the experience - the cheese bread, polenta (one of my personal faves), potatoes, etc. I don’t understand this because certainly those items cannot be served to another table and must go in the trash. It is expensive to dine here, but is generally worth the bill; we will likely dine either here or at another FDC in the future.
