Le Fogo de Chão® (prononcé fo-go dèe shoun), est un authentique steakhouse du sud du Brésil. En 1979, le Fogo® a commencé à faire partager les méthodes gaucho de préparation de la viande à Porto Alegre, au Brésil. Ici, les chefs gaucho manient toujours le grill avec talent pour préparer 20 pièces de viande et proposent un service continu. Service was good, however it was far too noisy to carry on a conversation at the table. The food came quickly and often, although the meats were all very tough.

We waited 30-45 minutes for filet and ribeye which everyone else kept getting around us and asked for MR and when it finally came it was raw. They want you to feel up on salad bar and lower cost sausages, chicken with bones in it, fatty tough bacon wrapped over cooked sirloin and not even top grade along with pork belly. These is all that mainly came around table for the meats yet there was a lot more on menu we had been served only once for there house special top sirloin which was better then horrible piece of tough and chewy ribeye and filet. I’m assuming there using standard or choice for red meats. Nobody explained the sides and bread dropped on table we had to ask. No sauces were offered after finding out sauces are available but again nobody told us or offered. Check was close to $350 for 2 people with cocktails, bottle water and desert wine and cordials along with dessert. For that kind of money we could have had better quality of food, better service at outbacks at a lesser price not saying that’s are choice or ever is more like Herbs N Rye or Cleaver for decent meal and steak locally. So over all 1-5 it was a low 2 or high 1. And just to add are servers and staff constantly change bc it’s a pulled room for tips so nobody cares about guest concerns or wanted to accommodate. The only person that was to value was the server at end ( female ) who actually noticed we kept not eating the $hity meat and asked was there anything specific we are wanting we asked for the filet and ribeye MR that came out raw and took 45 minutes bc they wanted us to fill up on the other crap. She also was the only one who was respectful and polite and spent the most time with us and explained about sauces available with the meats and what the sides were but we asked after it was dropped the Gauchos. If I still had the check I would give the closing servers name but remember Jose was server on check and cashier the female I can’t recall her name but was responsible from a 0 to a 2

The remodelling of the restaurant has created a lighter and more open environment; the food as usual was juicy and flavorful and the service very good .. we highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys spit fired meat! .. Yum Yum!!

The restaurant did not honor reservation. They way overbooked themselves, went at our reservation time at 10:15 and was told they were still fulfilling tables from 9 pm and it was going to be an additional 1.5 to 2 hours, but was told the restaurant closes at 10:30 so we have no idea how that would have worked. We left as we were certain they would not have seated us by the time we were called. There were many other groups there frustrated and upset about the situation.

We had a reservation for 8:45pm but our table was only ready by 9:30pm ! I was with my grandparents (80+ years old) and we had to wait for 45 minutes to get our table that was supposed to be booked for us! The place is not very organized! The meet was very good although the table market was missing some kinds of food. Overall, I would rate 6 out of 10 ! I wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t revisit the restaurant!

Not like other Fogo de Chao restaurants I have been to. They over booked on their reservations so although I had an 8:00 reservation we were t seated until 8:35. The table they sat us at the table cloth was dirty the menu was dirty. The entree we ordered was suppose to come with asparagus however they served it us with broccoli when I asked they said they didn’t have anymore. Definitely something that should have been disclosed at the time of ordering.
