I was surprised to see so many people in the restaurant at 5 pm. You should come to the place by not eating for at least a day.

Our server for the table was new to the restaurant and she seemed a bit overwhelmed. There were some managers floating around which was very nice to see, checking in on tables. After speaking with other employees, we came into contact with Aja. She was amazing! Anytime something was missing or taking a long time to come out, we was checking in on us, making sure we had everything. She explained that our server was new to English and new to the restaurant so that explained the lapse in service which was nice to understand. Drinks took a while to come, but it was villanovas parents weekend so they were not aware of the increase in business. All the food was great, with the exception of the ribeye, it was tough even at medium rare. We had a vegan diner with us, and he was extreamly happy with all the vegan options. He particularly loved the carrot soup. Skip the vegan entree, it’s not necessary as all the items are actually on the vegetable bar, it’s just served warm. Drinks took a very long time to come, but once Aja and another manager came by to check on us, it didn’t matter because they were so nice about it. Desserts took a while as well but we were with family and had babysitters for the night so it didn’t matter and we enjoyed our time together. 4 out of 5 stars because Aja made the night and we come from restaurant background. Everyone pulls tips there too, which showed on the floor how helpful every single staff member was to help the team. As for the comments of the Gauchos rolling their eyes with the meats, they have a job to do, they have hot food in their hands, and we witnessed a member of our group say they didn’t want a cut of meat, but it it was on the other side of the gaucho so chances are they won’t be like that, if you let them tell you want they have, instead of cutting them off and saying no. So just chill a lil.

Friendly bartender with great recommendations and delicious specialty cocktails! While waiting for friends to arrive, we sat at the bar and enjoyed the blood orange manhattan as well as strawberry hibiscus caipirinha along with lobster and shrimp tacos. The tacos were served in a lettuce wrap. Delicious and great value for $13. The salad bar/market table and feijoada bar was the included in our $39 special along with a variety of basic cuts of meat. There was a huge selection of salads and cold cuts, including smoked salmon. There was also a tasty carrot ginger soup. The medium rare picanha and fraldinha were juicy and tender. I’m sure the upscale cuts of meat like filet mignon would be amazing, but this special offered great value!

Most of the food was fresh and flavorful. Excellent ambience. The staff was mostly attentive and around. One draw back was that the meats were not as various as other Brazilian steakhouses I've been too. And sometimes the meat servers would be so quick that they would either miss some people or speak too fast when serving. Other than that it was a really pleasant experience.
