Le Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse (prononcé fo-go dèe shoun) est un authentique steakhouse du sud du Brésil servant depuis 1979 des grillades préparées à la manière des gauchos de Porto Alegre. Les chefs gauchos du Fogo utilisent aujourd'hui encore les mêmes techniques de cuisson pour préparer chacune des 20 pièces de viande du menu. Un service continu à table est assuré. We used to go to Fogo often both here in Houston and LA. At this visit we were very disappointed. Tables are packed in now and going on a Sat night was crazy. Servers barely had room to moved around and I kept getting bumped from the table behind. The ‘gauchos’ bringing the meat were hustling but didn’t come by our table very often. The salad bar is still very good with an extensive selection but the meat offerings have changed. What used to be very flavorful Picanha is now a bland top sirloin. The filet was overcooked, dry and flavorless and came by our table only once. The pork cuts were good but there was no lamb. The beef rib was very good but there was no rib eye or strip. Chicken offerings came by often and were flavorful.

Not very impressed. It’s been a while since we ate here (like 10 years) This location is very well kept. Too many tables, so close together. We made a reservation for 6:30, we were not seated until 7:00. The meat did not come around very often. Waiter was great. Food not so much.

Disappointing Experience at Fogo de Chão I recently visited Fogo de Chão for a 70th birthday celebration, and unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had there. I opted for the full experience, but it was not worth it. Despite keeping my card on green the entire time, I only received three different meat selections over the course of 1.5 hours. Even after I asked the server to bring a wider variety of meats, no one returned with anything else. As a result, I ended up relying mostly on the salad bar, which, while decent, didn’t make up for the lack of attention to the main course. The service was a major letdown compared to my previous visits. It seemed like the staff wasn’t as attentive, and the experience didn’t feel special at all, especially for a celebration like a 70th birthday. I had high expectations based on past experiences, but this time, the service fell short in a big way. Given how much I’ve enjoyed Fogo de Chão in the past, I’m truly disappointed. Unfortunately, I will not be returning anytime soon, nor would I recommend it like I used to. It’s a shame that the evening, meant to be a memorable celebration, ended up feeling more frustrating than enjoyable.

This Fogo on westheimer and bay brook have completely fallen off. Their service has been horrible at both locations. Time to try different Brazilian Steakhouses

May have been a one off, but worst service I’ve ever had at a Brazilian steakhouse. Servers kept skipping our table with the better cuts even though they were requested from the beginning, but came by with a super dry Parmesan pork 12X. Had to ask manager and then server again for them to finally bring picahna & other cuts to our table. Then they came back to charge my 2 kids as adults when it was supposed to be 50% off

Meat was dry and I had to ask multiple times to bring premium meat, they where slow at coming around. Explanation of different menu levels was poor

I had a very great lunch celebrating my son’s last win for his football season! Although I enjoyed the my time with my son there. I believe the meats need to be a little less burnt. We had a lot of food we received not eaten bc of the burnt pieces.

Waitress stopped by our table only twice in 90min. Our cups were empty, side dishes were gone. I had to stop and ask her if she was indeed our waitress. We put our credit card out to pay but she disappeared again for the last 20 minutes so I walked up to the manager and had her check us out. Terrible service.
