Le restaurant Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse - Dallas (prononcé fo-go dé cha-an) est un authentique steakhouse du sud du Brésil. En 1979, le Fogo® a commencé à faire partager les méthodes gaucho de préparer la viande à Porto Alegre, au Brésil. Les chefs gauchos du Fogo utilisent aujourd'hui encore les mêmes techniques de cuisson pour préparer chacune des 20 pièces de viande du menu. Un service continu à table est assuré. The food was pretty good. Multiple choices. Meat excellent. The ambiance is excellent and not too noisy. The only downside was that our waitress seemed to abandon us halfway through the meal. She stopped checking on us, and when we had finished dessert, she never brought our check! I had to chase down another waiter and ask him to produce our check. We had further plans for the evening which were delayed considerably. We did not have this problem on a previous visit, so I'm not sure what was going on tonight.

The Addison Fogo is amazing. Hoa, the Manager runs a smooth, impeccable, delicious, and incredible operation. They are at the top of our favorite places to eat. Whether we just choose the Market Table salad bar, or add a meat or have the Full Churrosco, we enjoy every bite and every moment in this restaurant. The food selection, high quality, ideal ambiance, excellent and attentive service all contribute to our enjoyment. We were there yesterday and already look forward to our next visit!

Despite reservations we had to wait almost two hours to be seated because of double bookings online and walking being accommodated.

Fogo de Chao is one of our favorite places to eat and we go there often. However, last night was a bad experience. We had a 7:00 pm reservation. When we arrived, they told us they were running behind and it would be a half hour wait. It ended up being over an hour wait for a table which is unacceptable with a reservation. They obviously oversold their reservations. Then we were seated in the far corner away from the kitchen so that they were running out of the best meats before they got to us. I the first half-hour the only thing that made it to our table were toasted cheese, sauage and slivers of one steak that was well done (I like my steak rare). We finally started getting good cuts at about 8:30 pm and had a nice meal. The wait staff was doing all that they could, but management messed up by not having enough staff or tables to match the people they made reservations for. They have been in business more than long enough to know how many parties they can handle on the holidays - they should have stopped taking reservation.

Had a great Christmas dinner. Unfortunately had to wait 30 minutes for the table, but wasn’t a big deal as it was easy to get to the party and have a pre dinner cocktail. As busy as it was, food and service were all excellent. Love this location. Thank you to all the team that took care of us on Christmas Day.
