Le Fogo de Chão® (prononcé fo-go dèe shoun) est un authentique steakhouse du sud du Brésil. En 1979, le Fogo® a commencé à faire partager les méthodes de préparation de la viande des gauchos à Porto Alegre, au Brésil. Aujourd'hui, les chefs gauchos grillent de façon experte chacune des 20 découpes de viande et vous proposent un service continu à table. El servicio, a diferencia de otras visitas, no fue tan bueno. Tardaron en atendernos y tuvimos que esperar más de 30 minutos a que nos sirvieran unas caipiriñas siendo que las pedimos como aperitivo.

Our waiters Will & Carlos were very professional and attentive to our table of 4. Carlos went above and beyond and a very pleasant person. Will although extremely busy with other tables, was able to check in on us. Overall good experience although it was a full house.

Of all the times that I’ve visited Fogo de Chao, this was my least favorite. My wife and I were celebrating our 1st Anniversary, The service left more to be desired. Our table was not properly cleaned, as there were 2 used cloths on the floor right under our table. We were sat on n a crowded area that didn’t leave us with much space, The Gauchos could barely get close enough to serve us. The Oakbrook and Rosemont location seem to have better organization and service, compared to the downtown location. I may prefer to make the further drive, if it means a better overall experience.

Customer Service is well off here. Food is okay for unlimited meat and salad bar. Most of the meat was either lukewarm or okay heat wise. Service was attentive and courteous. Took my sister for her 21st birthday. Mentioned to check ID on reservation because that a right of passage when you turn 21; however, server did not check ID. Overall a mid experience.

Our service team was excellent and ensured my husband's birthday was memorable! He is from a small town in KS and has never experienced a wagyu ribeye on a boiling salt plate 🤭 the strawberry cheesecake with candle and happy birthday icing was such a sweet comp. Literally - so sweet, SO good. The market buffet has a great selection of sides. Highlights were the street corn, the bacon, the beets, and prosciutto. The table Pao de Queijo is always my favorite. Although I didn't see ribs or sausage until I was too stuffed from the ribeye, Sirloin, and chicken, the meat offerings were plentiful, and they came around often. It was packed, boisterous, and full of energy from families and business associates celebrating. The vibe was great! The only low point would be the shrilly, demanding loud mom and her embarresed husband who plopped down next to us towards the end of our meal and fought about her NEED of WINE immediately while their whiny high-pitched screeching tween boys slobbered over their babysitter tablets on max volume..... the poor server needed a glass of wine after that, ha! The venue immediately tried to counter the family with zero situational awareness by turning up the volume on the music. A few people even clapped in appreciation! Thank you, Fogo de Chao, for a memorable birthday dinner!

1.) not even close to $30 and under. Try $60+ per plate. 2.) they have you crammed in like canned sardines 3.) wait staff is hurried and difficult to understand.

Great experience. The side dishes were a miss. But the steak variation, chicken thighs and lamb chops were on point. Our server left before we could tip he out and his co-workers got mad. Took the tip back to him. Didn’t appreciate that the coworkers were talking crap in Spanish. Which is why I didn’t leave the tip. They didn’t do anything so what made them think they deserved the tip.

We have been here several times and yesterday was not as good as always, our sides took a long time to come to the table and we didn’t get new sides until towards the end and they were not warm. The waiter was not very attentive. Overall we had to do a lot of waiting even for the bill.
