Le Fogo de Chão® (prononcé fo-go dèe shoun) est un authentique steakhouse du sud du Brésil. En 1979, le Fogo® a commencé à faire partager les méthodes de préparation de la viande des gauchos à Porto Alegre, au Brésil. I went in to have some good food. Well my husband and I got the full market and meat experience, so that included the breakfast that they make on Sundays. I went towards the omelet station and the employee was on her phone talking and talking. It took her a bit to give me attention. After that I told her I wanted an omelet and she said she'd take it to me when it was done. I said OK and went to take my seat. It took her a while to bring it to me and when she did.. it didn't even have the ingredients I wanted in it. When we were done and ready to pay, I told the waiter I had a reward and he told me he didn't know how those rewards worked. He went to get a manager and let me tell you.... he didn't know either. So basically I couldn't use my reward and the food wasn't even that good. So I do not recommend this place.

Starting from walking through the door. Door very loudly slammed shut behind us. Great start. Checked in with host and were seated. Table was located beside the salad bar, not a good location as the staff seemed to just hang around our table and stare on their downtime. My wife and I ordered our drinks, she got hers rather quickly while I waited for mine pretty much half of the time we were there. Swords didn’t come by for about 15-20 minutes even though we were green. Overall the food was great in my opinion. Albeit, I only had meat. My wife on the other hand, mentioned the salad bar was sub par. Might be a rough critic but in my opinion for a restaurant that charges that much and is seemingly all customer attention related. It’s EH, we’ve been to much better in the chicago area.

Horrible place. Loud, noisy, unorganised. We left the restaurant, opted to not wait. Had a reservation which apparently meant nothing as several dozen people were/appeared to be on our same boat at the same time. It just didn’t feel ok to wait to be seated (with a reservation) for an unknown amount of time — as per the reception staff — along with a crowd of people we were huddled with. The worst experience ever. The one star is too much.

I had been to this restaurant location about 5-6 years ago and at the time it was a truly fine dining restaurant. White linen tables and a quiet atmosphere. We had a reservation for NYE and it was super crowded. When our buzzer went off the hostess SNATCHED the buzzer off my hand, she was walking so fast to get us to our table that we had to speed walk to catch up with her. The restaurant had placed extra tables throughout the restaurant to accommodate a larger crowd for NYE. Tables were so tight in between that it was hard to walk through them to get to the buffet or anywhere in the restaurant. The men that came around with the cuts of meat splattered onto you or the tablecloth as they cut the meat. Had it been any other day we would have gone somewhere else. Regardless the bad experience and the rudeness of the hostess I still tipped our waiter 20% as I know he’s not at fault for the overall experience. Also, the bathrooms were dirty, bad lighting and the water in all the sinks was HOT. I definitely won’t be dining at any of their restaurants again. For as much as you pay per person it’s not worth it.

Food is always really good but our service that night wasn’t to good at all our server never came and checked on us at all other than that!

Meat preparation not good, overcooked. service too slow. too many reservations and less staffing salad bar ok, but full experience not as expected.
