Best restaurant we visited in Grenada so far. Excellent Caribbean dishes, responsive staff, good cocktails.

We were familiar with the restaurant from when it was Saavy and was excellent. The restaurant is beautiful as is the setting. When we arrived we were seated immediately. We realized quickly the chairs were extremely uncomfortable and not restaurant chairs. It took some time for us to be greeted by our food server. We gave a drink order but it took quite a long time to arrive. We were given menus and noticed the selection was small and not with many options you would expect on a tropical island. It took almost 30 min to get our starters. They were okay but not excellent. It then was almost another 40 min for our entrees to come. They were tasty for most part but 1. Not as flavorful as you would expect and small portions for the cost of the meals. You don’t mind cost when the value is there. It was another 20 min to get desserts which were underwhelming. We are in Grenada on a regular basis and enjoy dining in the large number of restaurants on the island. I am not sure if we will give this a second chance. .

I’m not sure what type of operation is being run at Mt Cinnamon. We had a reservation set in advance for breakfast for 17 people at 9AM, when we arrived at the restaurant we were advised that they could not find our booking because it was made online. It is useful to note that we actually made the reservation over the phone and even called to confirm two days prior. We were seated at 10:30AM, the food, although not particularly tasty was served relatively fast. The service was not the best however we must thank the manager who is probably the only reason that we got seated as the servers could not care less that we were waiting over an hour. I would say spend your money elsewhere. Our chances of returning are slim to none.

Nothing on website when booking to say it was a fixed price fixed menu only - that was already poor value - - then tiny portion sizes on the fish main - to the point of asking if they had run out of fiat and unbelievably slow service throughout including sorbets delivered 80% melted and waiting over 90 mins for main courses made for a very disappointing and expensive experience

They shouldn’t be charging $150/plate if the service can’t keep pace. Food not that great.

Nice little place on the beachfront. The food was delicious and fresh and reasonably priced. A new member of staff who wasn’t used to taking orders was the only downside, but I’m sure they will improve over time. The cocktails were lovely too Afterwards went for a nice quiet swim. Ample parking and good vibes around

What could be better than a fine dining experience with your toes in the sand, the sound of the ocean waves, a local musician singing familiar songs with her own twist in the background and the dimly lit dinner ambience? I guess all that could make it better is excellent bar and wait staff and food!!! That is definitely what Savvy brings. We really enjoyed our last night in Grenada at this restaurant. Even a bonfire was set up on the beach (for certain nights) so our kiddo was roasting marshmallows for her dessert. We also enjoyed their limited but creative and delicious dinner, cocktail and dessert menu. 5 stars!!
