We used to love this place so much! We got married here and it remains a special spot… but the prices have skyrocketed more than other restaurants, and the menu options have shrunk. The chefs and management have changed, and it really isn’t the experience it used to be. It now k my has the price tag of an experience, but the evening is rather meh.

Flores & Pine is such a hidden gem in Calgary and deserves way more attention. Tucked away on the NW edge of the city, it brings a fine dining experience to life in such a unique way, especially with its constantly updated menu. We were seated in the Atrium, and our server was absolutely amazing—though I can’t recall his name, he made the evening so enjoyable. I visited Flores & Pine on Sunday November 9, 2024, which was for my son's birthday. When I made the reservation, I noted it was a special occasion, and I also reminded the host upon arrival and mentioned it to our server. We were seated in a busy area with a lot of noise and children, which made it hard to enjoy a relaxed meal. Additionally, we were seated at a very small table, which was not appropriate for the meal we ordered, (The Tomahawk). Our server did eventually pull another table over for more space, which we appreciated. While we enjoyed the quality of the food, the overall experience didn't quite live up to what we had hoped. Following dinner, we were joined by two more family members and the bill exceeded $650.00. Despite all this, my son received only a candle on a plate to blow out; there was no complimentary dessert or real acknowledgement of his birthday, which left us a bit disappointed.

It’s only the second time we’ve been here but we should definitely come more often! We had a 2.5 and a 3.5YO in tow and everyone was so accommodating getting their food out quickly. I loved the options available on the kids menu! The Brussels sprouts were delectable! The sauce was absolutely perfect! My husband had the lamb and I had the 10oz steak. Every plate was just chefs kiss to be honest. I look forward to coming back!

Another excellent evening and meal at Flores and Pine. It never disappoints! Front staff and waiting staff are funny, and engaging. Meal choices are plenty and food is delicious. It is a real treat to go here and highlight of the week for me !

Sunday brunch is delicious and has a great variety, highly recommend. Gorgeous space and brunch offerings are displayed beautifully (if you’re someone who takes pictures of their food this will be your playground). My minor complaint is that the oysters were brought around by servers and when I visited they did not make it to my table until I was well into my meal, would be easier if they were offered with the other seafood items for guests to take, as other Sunday buffet brunches do such as Wilde on 27th. I believe they used to serve oysters this way as other friends who had been before indicated this.

Beautiful restaurant and service. Though the staff seemed like they were told to make certain recommendation that missed the mark. Food was disappointing and well below expectations for the price point. Flavorless in most dishes and our proteins were consistently over cooked and dry. We would not recommend.
