An amazing experience! We were celebrating our Anniversary and had a lovely dinner. Some of the best cocktails I have had, delicious food, and stellar service. Special thanks to Constantine for making our night exceptional. We will definitely be back and can say this was one of my favourite dinners in quite some time!

We dined at F&P on the evening of October 5th. We decided to order the date night board, which was priced MARKET PRICE. The meal began with a small Ceasar salad which was to be shared. There were two strips of bacon on top, which we found odd and crumbled ourselves, and although the greens were fresh, it was so sparingly dressed there wasn't even dressing residue left on the bowl once the salad was gone. The board itself was bland. We were served roasted vegetables, two types of steak, and 8 steamed shrimp. There was no seasoning on any of the proteins, and we had to ask for some sort of sauce for the shrimp. Everything was cool as if it had been waiting a while before being brought out to us. Each protein sorely needed it's own sauce; this is an easy opportunity for the chef to be creative and offer a variety of house made sauces. Our server was wonderful. The drinks were quite pricey, which we recognize is par for the course these days. Our bill total was $270.90. For us, this was a ludicrous price for such an underwhelming meal. This was our second visit, and I think will be the last. A shame, as the venue is absolutely stunning, and 8 minutes away from where we live in Bearspaw. A little care with the preparation and presentation of the meal would go a long way to improve the experience, and charging an appropriate price point is so important if repeat diners is the goal of the establishment.

From the warm welcome on entering to the pleasant good byes, it was a lovely dining experience. Our server was very pleasant and helpful. Our food came to the table hot and each diner remarked on the delicious flavours of the individual dishes.
