Join us August 1 - September 30 for Houston Restaurant Weeks. We are offering a three-course prix fixe menu for $55. For each meal sold, we are donating $7 to the Houston Food Bank, which will then prepare 21 meals for people in need. This is a great opportunity to try our menu and give back to the community.

This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and in a beautiful, verdant setting on the bayou. The food was great but the menu in the restaurant didn’t match what we reviewed online before deciding to go. The manager accommodated by making an omelet (seems like stand brunch fare and this was a brunch meal) that was mysteriously not on the menu, which was very nice. The bus person then dropped guacamole on my friend when clearing during the meal, making a spot on her new skirt. I think with some tweaks this could be a great restaurant. They need to get their online presence coordinated with their in person presence, they should have the wait staff understand that saying no (especially to a simple request like an omelet at brunch) is the last resort and they need to train their bus staff to take care not to drop food on the guests.

As always food was great. The service was fantastic, Medardo and Carlos made everything possible to give us the best service and I had a wonderful birthday dinner celebration with with my friends. Thanks Carlos and Medardo!!

2nd time here. Really awesome experience the 1st time, but there were a few things that didn’t meet that last night. The octopus and the trio ceviche were excellent. Tortilla soup was top notch as was the poblano pepper special. My lamb & mole was ok - mole needed more flavor IMO & the lamb was a bit overcooked. The disappointing part of the evening was how long it took to get a drink every time we ordered them and the stupidly loud, thunderbumper music that began later into our meal. We didn’t go there for disco night, nor did we need a night club atmosphere. Overall, the service was very slow, ok if I have a drink in front of me, but that wasn’t the case.

The food is always delicious! I've been a least 5 times and never had a dish I didn't like. The service is friendly and the space is beautiful (love all of the chandeliers!).

We had a wonderful time! Brunch was divine! We highly recommend. Every ingredient was fresh and made from scratch. Can’t say enough about this place. We love going there.

Food and service was good. Fish, meat cooked perfectly. Flan, excellent. Tortillas, tasteless. Use lard. Valet parking needs serious work. Traffic jams. Ridiculous.

Staff was incredible and nice. The restaurant was super cute inside and out and the manager was so nice and made our anniversary special! Definitely will be coming back! The food was so good and came out so fast!!

We celebrated my husband's birthday and it was our first time to dine at Flora and we both enjoyed everything...food, ambiance, Alex our waiter and Alex the manager. They made my husband's birthday special! The only thing I would recommend they need to improve would be using less ice in their cocktails. The drinks were delicious, but not much in them with so much ice. We were very impressed with our waiter, Alex and highly recommend him. Alex the manager came to our table a few times and made sure we were satisfied with everything. I will be going back and taking my friends!
