Nestled in the picturesque village of Lowonsford, on the banks of the Stratford Canal, between winding country roads that used to be part of the Forest of Arden, The Fleur De Lys is the very best kind of country pub. Packed full of quaint charm and quirky corners beneath its C16th wooden beams, The Fleur is a cosy haven in the winter and an extensive paradise in the summer. There are so many tiny wonders packed into this historic building that you will always find something new to fall in love with when you visit. Our garden boasts an acre of land to run riot on and a low level wooden children’s playground, alongside over 30 tables and benches. We’re ideally situated for walkers and ramblers who wish to explore the canal towpath or a variety of local walks. If you’re intending on zooming through this part of Warwickshire on a bicycle, The Fleur makes an excellent intermediary watering hole to fortify you for the ride ahead.

Always good - 7 of us had Sunday lunch , all very good but the roast potatoes were awful , as if they were not fresh and had been cooked days before. They were that bad we found it difficult to cut them - on way to car we had to pass diners outside and they had also ate everything except for the roast potatoes. I would definitely go back - but not for Sunday lunch.

I have been to the Fleur de Lys several times and this was the best meal I've ever had there, Beef Stroganoff, very tasty indeed. Went late afternoon/early evening so was nice and quiet. There were 7 of us for a birthday celebration.

Beautiful country pub by the canal - lots of space to eat inside and out. Plenty of character and an imaginative menu. Food was very good too. Very little that could be improved.

The homemade pies were delicious along with the chunky chips, veg and gravy it came with. This includes the vegan balti option and the chicken and mushroom we tried. we also had desserts and highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding and the vegan millionaire shortbread. The staff were very kind and welcoming and you could tell it’s a friendly family run pub. Beautifully decorated and clean inside with a great selection of drinks at the bar (both soft drinks and alcoholic). Would really recommend this pub. We will be back!

We were a small group. Sat outside under the canopy on the comfiest of chairs. Food was delicious as always and the service excellent. Thank you 🙏🏻

The food here was incredible, I can highly recommend the pies! The pub is set next to a canal, so looks gorgeous before you get through the door. Inside, it's a really cosy, relaxing atmosphere. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

I was amongst a group of friends travelling on the canal. Having been to this establishment previously we agreed to dine here again. As before, we had a super time. It was quite busy so we pre booked our table which was available on our arrival. The staff were excellent and the food selection and value for money was impressive. A good drinks selection finished off our experience. A very happy group 👍
