Nestled in the picturesque village of Lowonsford, on the banks of the Stratford Canal, between winding country roads that used to be part of the Forest of Arden, The Fleur De Lys is the very best kind of country pub. Packed full of quaint charm and quirky corners beneath its C16th wooden beams, The Fleur is a cosy haven in the winter and an extensive paradise in the summer. There are so many tiny wonders packed into this historic building that you will always find something new to fall in love with when you visit. Our garden boasts an acre of land to run riot on and a low level wooden children’s playground, alongside over 30 tables and benches. We’re ideally situated for walkers and ramblers who wish to explore the canal towpath or a variety of local walks. If you’re intending on zooming through this part of Warwickshire on a bicycle, The Fleur makes an excellent intermediary watering hole to fortify you for the ride ahead.

Honouring the traditional Fleur De Lys pies made here during the 1950s, our own range of homemade Lowsonford Pies are freshly hand made on site. Encased in shortcrust pastry with a puff pastry lid, all our pies are served with chunky chips, a mix of veg & a jug of gravy

We had a reservation at 1:30 arrived and seated promptly in a very busy buzzing pub restaurant. The staff were prompt caring and efficient The furniture in the area we were in was confusing I couldn't make my mind up if it was dirty and grubby or if it was a fashion statement. Starters were very good I had a vegetable soup because i'm fussy and tend to judge a restaurant by the standard of their soup. Both had Roast beef (it was a Sunday) Not great!! The presentation was terrific with a traditional large Yorkshire pudding however it was downhill from there. Parsnips were hard and saturated in fat as were the roast potatoes, the greens were bland and clearly not seasoned the Beef was good maybe a little overcooked. We didn't stay for Dessert even though I was tempted but it was cold in the restaurant area we were in. we did purchase two Lowsonford pies as I am to understand they are excellent. I mentioned my disapointment to a member of staff who was really gracious handling the complaint and promised to pass it on the the Management.

Chicken leak and bacon pie was fabulous, pork belly was very nice although the portion was quite small. Kids had chicken burger and fish and chips the portions were good. Overall very lovely meal out and the food was very nice

Excellent experience- food of extremely high quality and great range. Slight issue with one of our dishes was quickly and effectively rectified by the team.

Great pub, delicious food, warm and welcoming ambience. And getting to cuddle a dog while checking out the menu was a real bonus! I took my parents for their 50th Wedding Anniversary and they were very impressed. The award winning pies deserve the accolades, but everything we had was delicious (the fish cake and confit portobello mushroom starters get an honorable mention). My only word of warning - the baked camembert starter is enough for 2 people, or 1 determined person! But finishing a pie after that was a challenge! I've been before and will definitely be back again...and again...and again!

We came to the Fleur for my mum's birthday. It's a lovely pub and overall, we had a great experience. There was obviously quite an inexperienced server at our table, who seemed quite stressed and could have been mistaken for being a bit rude. I could hear them being coached by another member of staff but it was a bit tense! We will be back as the pies are excellent and made locally.
