Nestled in the picturesque village of Lowonsford, on the banks of the Stratford Canal, between winding country roads that used to be part of the Forest of Arden, The Fleur De Lys is the very best kind of country pub. Packed full of quaint charm and quirky corners beneath its C16th wooden beams, The Fleur is a cosy haven in the winter and an extensive paradise in the summer. There are so many tiny wonders packed into this historic building that you will always find something new to fall in love with when you visit. Our garden boasts an acre of land to run riot on and a low level wooden children’s playground, alongside over 30 tables and benches. We’re ideally situated for walkers and ramblers who wish to explore the canal towpath or a variety of local walks. If you’re intending on zooming through this part of Warwickshire on a bicycle, The Fleur makes an excellent intermediary watering hole to fortify you for the ride ahead.

Lovely evening, great food and nice atmosphere. We ordered a starter but it never came. We mentioned it at the end just for info as it wasn’t on the bill so must have been missed. We were a bit surprised that the pub closed at 10 considering it was a Saturday night. We would visit again for the food. Car park was really dark.

A group of 4 of us booked a table, none of us had been there before. Very impressed with the look and feel of the place. We ordered their well known pies , all excellent Service was excellent, will definitely recommend to family and friends. They will see us again.

As good as ever. Gammon is the favourite for our family but plenty of other choices. Would like to see a salad dish, though.

Pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty, the menu gave a good choice, and the prices were particularly reasonable. Service was prompt and cheerful despite the pub being unusually full. I especially appreciated the coffee as it is virtually impossible to find a good espresso in a UK pub and the coffee here was excellent. Despite there being so many people the noise level didn't seem too high as it does in some venues. Definitely deserves a repeat visit.
