Inspired by a sense of adventure, the Lazeaway Club invites you on a journey to the heart of the Pacific. From the sun swept shores of Mexico to the palms of Thailand, the Lazeaway Club’s Cal-Pacific cuisine taps the spices, heat, sweet and savory of far-flung travel destinations, combining them with the best fresh, local ingredients. Located inside the reimagined Flamingo Resort & Spa, The Lazeaway features floor-to-ceiling glass windows and opens out to the covered Lanai terrace in front of the Flamingo's central pool. Created in collaboration with restaurateurs Anderson Pugash and Benson Wang of Palm House Hospitality and featuring the culinary genius of Executive Chef Chris Ricketts.

Ki Kim, a chef originally from Korea, began his culinary journey as a sushi chef and rose through the ranks at Matsuhisa in Aspen. He later honed his skills at prestigious fine dining venues such as Benu in San Francisco and Kojyu in Tokyo. In New York City, Kim worked at renowned establishments like Jungsik, Atomix, and Blanca. Driven by a passion for sharing the nostalgic flavors of Korea through locally sourced ingredients, he formerly owned Kinn, a restaurant in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Currently, he is the Chef de Cuisine at the Michelin-starred Meteora in Los Angeles and is in the process of planning his next culinary venture. Join us for elevated Korean cuisine inspired by a nostalgic admiration of Chef Kim's Korean heritage.

My husband had the salmon and it was delicious! I ordered the short ribs which would easily serve 2, maybe 3 people. I wasn't impressed. Brussel sprouts in a maple sauce that we shared were amazing!! The atmosphere in the outside eating area is typical of a hotel resort with pool. Splashing, laughter, music, it's all good. I will say I was grateful for the overhead heaters on a September evening in Sonoma County. Yes, we will return!

Loud inside next to the windows. Partly due to a large group seated in the same room. Dined outside two nights later: less crowd noise but the sound system was too loud. Otherwise, two lovely meals

The pool ads a wonderful element. Sitting outside is the best way to go.

The menu leaves something to be desired. I’m not sure what style the cuisine was, but 6 of us had never heard of most of the menu items. However, we did love the French fries. We asked to look at the pool menu, hoping for some familiar, easy to pronounce, foods to choose from. We were told we could not order from pool menu. Very disappointed and would not return. However, our waiter was wonderful!

I really wanted to like this place as I had been wanting to try it for a while. I finally did. There were 6 people in our party. We shared calamari as an appetizer and ordered a few other items for our main course. While the food is okay there was just no wow factor to any of our selections. They do try. The location and ambience is great. However the food is nothing special. I feel that there is potential but the resort quality is not there yet. Perhaps we did not make the right choices, from the menu. I might try the breakfast/brunch before I decide.

Beyond loud!!! Ate indoors, outdoor music infiltrated indoors and was too loud, acoustics terrible, poor remodel. It’s not Hawaii, last look was Sonoma County with a beautiful pool and a once Vintage Hotel. Food fair, Ahi Poke was without cucumbers or avocado- though tasted good enough would only call it mediocre and small. Husbands salad with salmon was fine, but salmon was thin, not substantial. Odd menu. Asian? Hawaiian? Korean? American? Such a waste with beautiful pool view and substandard food and cheap dining room. Won’t be back! Thank God they kept the Vintage Space, only room that makes sense! And where’s the lobby, on the funky desk when you walk in, so sad!

Fun and relaxed ambiance next to the pool. Newly renovated with a retro vibe. The soba noodle salad had a great combo of flavors and textures--some citrus for a fresh feel and some tiny nut pieces for some crunch. Be sure to add the seared salmon to it.

The front of house and servers are great. Friendly, efficient, capable. The atmosphere is a really nice pool resort vibe. The food is just really lacking. Hot things are cold, cold items warm and just sadly, no flavor.
