There was dirt in the vegetables that came with the salmon which was disappointing as I expect that all vegetables are washed before being cooked, steak was overdone (ordered medium rare and it was close to well done). Seating by window overlooking the pool was nice but overall the meals were a bit pricy. Service was quick but wouldn’t eat here again.

The staff were lovely great service, flame trees is a lovely spot we love it during summer when we can sit outside unfortunately the food wasn't as great as previous times, the parmas and steak sandwiches were good but not great the salad was lovely the buffalo wings were really tasty but would of been great to have a dipping sauce. We did have to send a fish back as it was inedible but they still tried to charge for it even though the chef agreed it wasn't up to standard. Generally though the food here is lovely so we will definitely go back.

Tomato mussels toast came with the burnt side hidden, and the sauce overpoweringly salty that I had to to send the entire dish back. Common sense would dictate that they would rush the replacement dish but by the time it came everyone else had already finished their meals. It was extremely extremely disappointing and not worth the price and anguish of waiting for the replacement dish. When the replacement dish it pretty much fell flat, wasn't delicious unlike many of the better options we had while around Phillip Island, or at Melbourne. Service staff unsure where menu options are in their point of sales system, and did not ask for doneness of steak. Would avoid given the poor quality. A pity given it's a restaurant located within a hotel. No discount or goodwill or apology was tendered at the end of the meal.

I recently visited Flametrees Bar and Restaurant, and while it wasn’t the coziest spot, it still provided a comfortable setting for a meal. The highlight for me was definitely the food—the dishes were flavourful, and the portion sizes were generous, making it great value for money. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the wait time was reasonable, which made the overall dining experience quite pleasant. If you're looking for great food with good service, Flametrees is definitely worth checking out.

The food was good but the service was terrible. Drinks were forgotten about and when reminded still took far too long to be brought out, lots of mistakes and incompetence.

The ham and pineapple Gluten Free pizza was very good. Enjoyed the GF base. The garlic prawns terrific

So I made a booking online tried to ring g to confirm but got confirmation email saying booked met my girl Friend there went to sit down to be told we are closed pretty disappointed why did it allow me to book why did it not say closed It was quite messy and very loud in the very short time there

Good thing we made a booking as the restaurant was booked out. Even though the outside seating had heating on one side of the table. it was still freezing.

Service was good, really enjoyable meals. Advertised happy hour drinks from 5pm -6pm but was charged full price. But overall would recommend
