I dined at Flame+Smith to celebrate my first wedding anniversary with my husband. While the food was delicious for the most part, the service unfortunately fell short. I had mentioned that it was a special occasion, yet none of the staff acknowledged our anniversary, which was disappointing. I also noticed that other tables nearby, also celebrating special occasions, received the same lack of attention from the servers. Our server, in particular, made us feel as though we were an inconvenience, even interrupting our intimate moments to clear the table without regard for our experience. The overall atmosphere felt impersonal and uncaring, which detracted from what should have been a memorable evening. Additionally, while I usually don’t mind uniforms, I found it off-putting that the servers were dressed so casually, with some wearing cut-off muscle shirts. When you're spending a significant amount of money and traveling from out of town for a special occasion, you expect a higher level of professionalism. People choose Flame+Smith for its elevated cuisine and to celebrate milestones, but the service didn’t match the quality of the food or the expectations of the clientele. Simple gestures like congratulating guests or engaging in friendly conversation could go a long way in making diners feel valued and appreciated. Overall, while the food was good, the lackluster service and indifferent atmosphere left us feeling disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for a special occasion experience.

A superb evening out for an anniversary dinner. Attentive, friendly service. The menu had diverse offerings to suit a variety of food preferences and dietary restrictions. The food we ordered was absolutely delicious . Thanks to the Flame and Smith team for providing such a high standard of dining here in PEC 🤗💖

We ordered the tasting menu. There was so much food we couldn’t eat it all but it was delicious. Cocktails are great, service is great. Would recommend.

Fresh food with some local infusion, extensive wine list, creative dishes and proud staff that took the time to explain dishes. Make sure you try their homemade hot sauce. Exceptionally good with the fresh Oysters. High recommend!

The service was terrible. It kind of felt like our table was not visible to all the servers. Awful. Food was great though!

They went above and beyond to help make my parents anniversary very special. Food service ambiance all amazing.

The start to the evening was great. We had a very late reservation and were able to get an earlier start which was great. Our waitress was very efficient and helped with my wine choices. My husband had ordered the tuna ceviche which was served to him and I was told my shrimp cocktail would be served shortly. I watched as the guy at the bar received my shrimp cocktail and then instead of walking the 3 feet to deliver it to our table, set it down on a ledge outside the bar area, left it there and turned around to serve drinks to a couple sitting at the bar. So my shrimp cocktail sat there while other servers came and went around it, pouring drinks, typing orders into the computer etc. After about 10 minutes, our waitress saw that I didn’t have my appetizer and asked at the bar. When she delivered it, I said that I couldn’t believe the guy at the bar was too lazy to deliver it himself!! She apologized several times but it was not necessary as it was not her fault that the owner, Hidde as I later found out , was sloppy. From that point on I watched as he swooned over one couple at the bar the rest of our time there. Considering that he was the owner, i would have thought it was his job to check on ALL customers to make sure they are having their best evening possible. If you want to be a 4.9 star rated restaurant, you must act like it. One couple will not carry a restaurant forever!! I still gave the restaurant a decent rating only because the food was delicious and our waitress was superb. The owner could take a lesson from his staff!

Delicious food and beautiful presentation. Was very busy, but we didn't feel rushed. Was a nice relaxed vibe.
