Fresh food with some local infusion, extensive wine list, creative dishes and proud staff that took the time to explain dishes. Make sure you try their homemade hot sauce. Exceptionally good with the fresh Oysters. High recommend!

The service was terrible. It kind of felt like our table was not visible to all the servers. Awful. Food was great though!

They went above and beyond to help make my parents anniversary very special. Food service ambiance all amazing.

The start to the evening was great. We had a very late reservation and were able to get an earlier start which was great. Our waitress was very efficient and helped with my wine choices. My husband had ordered the tuna ceviche which was served to him and I was told my shrimp cocktail would be served shortly. I watched as the guy at the bar received my shrimp cocktail and then instead of walking the 3 feet to deliver it to our table, set it down on a ledge outside the bar area, left it there and turned around to serve drinks to a couple sitting at the bar. So my shrimp cocktail sat there while other servers came and went around it, pouring drinks, typing orders into the computer etc. After about 10 minutes, our waitress saw that I didn’t have my appetizer and asked at the bar. When she delivered it, I said that I couldn’t believe the guy at the bar was too lazy to deliver it himself!! She apologized several times but it was not necessary as it was not her fault that the owner, Hidde as I later found out , was sloppy. From that point on I watched as he swooned over one couple at the bar the rest of our time there. Considering that he was the owner, i would have thought it was his job to check on ALL customers to make sure they are having their best evening possible. If you want to be a 4.9 star rated restaurant, you must act like it. One couple will not carry a restaurant forever!! I still gave the restaurant a decent rating only because the food was delicious and our waitress was superb. The owner could take a lesson from his staff!

Delicious food and beautiful presentation. Was very busy, but we didn't feel rushed. Was a nice relaxed vibe.

Kale Caesar salad was excellent as was the Niagara peach appetizer. The chicken piri was a bit odd, steak frits was delicious.

We’ve been meaning to check out Flame and Smith for a couple of years and finally got there this time (albeit, on a Monday). Food and service were excellent and the place was hoping!

Probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Lovely spot for a summer evening meal. Only disappointment was dessert. Peach cobbler was pretty light on the peaches. Really hope they will bring back the legendary s’mores ice cream dessert. Coffee served in small French press was excellent. Totally recommend this reliable spot in Bloomfield.

I ordered pork belly and shrimp!! Was tasty, bit pork belly was pure fat! No meat at all!, maybe my luck ! Other than that very good ! Ceviche amazing steak super good
