Went here based on other reviews for a date night with my boyfriend. We had a really good experience, we had a reservation booked . We were seated within 3-5 minutes of arriving. The seating was very comfortable, the environment had a very unique, calm vibe. It wasn’t too loud at all could have a conversation with each other no problem. They had some pretty impressive drinks, that came with a nice experience. Don’t get me started on the food, it was so amazing ! From the presentation, to flavour I was so happy. The staff were very welcoming, and kind. Our waitress was on top of making sure we always had drinks and happy with the food. For sure will be a future date spot for us.

This is a small space with an open plan and it was full so on the noisy side. Our server was wonderful. The food took too long because the kitchen was backed up but once we got it we enjoyed it. I shared the ribeye with seafood with another person and there was enough for the both of us, but while we ordered the steak medium rare it ranged from rare in spots to outright raw. I like rare steak but even I couldn’t eat it! Dessert was again late getting to us because the kitchen remained backed up. I chose this restaurant because I’ve been to the regular steakhouses many times so wanted something different, but it was not good enough, especially for the prices, to make me choose it over The Keg in the future.

Great ambience and food. Sunday's prime rib special and chocolate martinis were just the recipe to top off a fantastic day/evening.

Pickle and cauliflower starter was good. Lobster risotto and Caesar salad were subpar. Fish and chips looked pretty good.

This is our second time at Flame and Barrel. We were seated at a pub style table close to the bar. They had the hockey game on the TVs. Menu selections are very good and the prices are fair. Wine menu is adequate, as is the cocktail menu. The staff were exceptional.

We had their lamb dish and ribeye special and everything was delicious. Portions were great for the price. Would definitely be back again!

This was our third visit, and we brought 4 friends, for the Sunday night prime rib special. It was excellent!

RILEY WAS AWESOME!!! Attentive, quick witted, knew the menu/offered suggestions and kept us entertained from start to finish! We will be back specifically for him - YAY RILEY!!!
