The outdoor seating was decent and the many fans provided did a great job of keeping us cool. We order the $45 oyster tower. It provided 20 oysters with varying preparations, it was fine. One of us got the fried flounder sandwich which was very good, the other ordered the scalloped stuffed flounder which tasted like cheap stuffing and cheap overcooked white fish. My drink was tasty but lacking in alcohol for the price. We also ordered the lamb burger but it wasn’t properly herb prepared to get rid of the gamy taste and 2/3rd was left behind along with the caesar salad side we paid an up charge for that came as dry as the dry lamb burger. When we asked for extra sauce to help with the flavor we were charged for that too. We really wanted to enjoy the place but it was a disappointment. The slow service also made us cancel our later plans because dinner took 2hrs and 15min since the meals were brought out so late. It was not a busy night.

We were so disappointed. We wanted a table outside but they put us in a place that was so dark we couldn’t see the menu or our food. Also, the waiter was horrible. Had a attitude that was an “I don’t care”. Never checked on us after someone else brought food. Never asked if we wanted another drink. Never even came back to our table at all. A very nice girl came to get our dishes when we finished eating and asked us if we needed anything. We’ve always have had a great experience at your restaurant but this time food was below par and the service was horrible other than the nice girl at the end of our dinner.

The live music was so loud you couldn’t hear the person next to you speak! They need to turn that down and it would have been a fantastic experience. We had to move outside to eat due to the volume. A table of 8 left after trying to order because the volume of the music was so loud. The music itself was great but the volume made it very unenjoyable.

Imagine eating inside a dance club or disco. People falling on you and sitting at your table. Food is good but it’s a party place more than a restaurant for dinner. Not family friendly at all!

Never again. Got there, the young male host had zero personality. Sat down, ordered an app. Waitress comes backs to take our food order, my wife goes to order crab legs, “oh we can’t do that tonight, our steamer is broken”. Probably could have led with that. Fine. She figured something else to order. Still waiting on appetizer and salad. In the midst, our waitress disappeared. We get a new one who doesn’t let us know she took over, I thought she was just checking on us. Took 45 mins to get app (potato skins) finally get our food, it was decent. Order dessert. It was very good. Get the bill $122. A little pricey for what we had and our experience.

Ordered clam chowder, escargot and chicken pot pie. Everything was very salty. The oyster crackers that came with clam chowder must have been really old because they were hard as rock even after putting them in the chowder. The escargot was very disappointing it was so salty that dipping bread into the delicacy did not tame it down. Hubby ordered chicken pot pie and once again it was very salty, disappointing to say the least. We have been to this restaurant in the past and food was wonderful so we decided to enjoy the evening on our anniversary. We were very disappointed and it made our special night disappointing 😟

Finally a date night. Got sat upstairs in the screened in porch which was lovely. Service was fine and food average. Shrimp over cooked but the worst part is they allow smoking. I had to leave and didn’t finish my drink let alone order another or have dessert. I didn’t think smoking was allowed in restaurants. Gross.
