OHad a 7:45 reservation on a Thursday. The restaurant was mostly empty so my group of 4 sat at the bar after checking in with the hostess and had a drink. We sat at the table around 8:30 and the waiter informed us the kitchen was closing at 9. We put in an app and entrees and he brought the dessert menu and said if we wanted anything we should order now, so we put in 1 item to share. It took about 20mins for the food to come out and everything was brought at once, app, entrees and shortly after the dessert and check. The waiter was busy chatting with the one other table and there was no check in on drinks or coffee, he just came back for the check. The food was great but the service was very lacking for a high end expensive restaurant.

Our waiter knew we were on a timeline to get to a concert but we had an hour and half. The food came about 3 minutes before we had to leave. And he had pushed me into an entre I didn’t like. They discounted that one entre but still made me pay for the rest of the food we had to walk of and leave.

We had a 6 PM reservation and were promptly seated. We told our server we were celebrating my birthday and were going to an 8 PM show and needed to be done by 730 and assumed 90 minutes was plenty of time to have an appetizer and entree. We ordered within the first 10 minutes of being seated and got our salads and drinks shortly after that. After our salads were cleared, it took another 40 minutes for our entrees to come. We asked the waiter several times and reminded him of our time constraint, but despite this, saw many people who arrived after us being served before us. Our food came at 720, and when it came we asked for the check. It still took him until 740 to bring the check. They took a small amount off the bill, which hardly made a dent in a meal with $65 entrees that we barely got to enjoy. This is a top notch restaurant and one I’ve frequented often for business lunches and dinners. I also often go to the spa at this hotel (and was just there this past Thursday). I will not be returning.

Overall it was very good. I got the wrong protein on my salad - chicken instead of salmon - and it was very dry. Otherwise, it was a pleasant lunch and atmosphere.

We go here several times a year - great restaurant, great drinks, great ambience. We met the chef Fernando this time and really nice guy - and the mole with the filet mignon - AMAZING! We were fortunate enough to have Jared again as our server and what a relaxed, professional, easy going, and personable server. It's always a joy to see him and chat with him. Overall - Floor2 is a great place to go before a show, sporting event, or just a night out without anything after. It's fun!
