Fixins is a full service soul food restaurant that celebrates the history and traditions of African American culture in an inclusive environment that welcomes everyone! We’re located in the historic Oak Park neighborhood of Sacramento California in the 40 Acres Cultural complex at the corner of Broadway and 35th Street.

    Fixins has a warm and wonderful vibe. This visit was for a casual meeting and was the perfect place. The table was large enough for papers plus food, and the service was polite and professional. My dish was the vegan blackened tofu. It was very good but could've used a marinate on the tofu to get the flavors inside----a minor observation. I have a Creole palate, so it could be just a me-thing. All guests loved their dishes.

    Cheri was amazing. Food was great and we really enjoyed it. I always enjoy going, haven’t been disappointed yet.

    The food was excellent, It was a party of 10 and the table was ready as soon as we arrived. The service was great, the server was very attentive and friendly to our whole group. I would have like to have the birthdays acknowledged a little more. Even have a dessert for the birthday individuals.
