Fixins is a full service soul food restaurant that celebrates the history and traditions of African American culture in an inclusive environment that welcomes everyone! We’re located in the historic Oak Park neighborhood of Sacramento California in the 40 Acres Cultural complex at the corner of Broadway and 35th Street.

    Found this place on yelp while visiting Sacramento today. Absolutely amazing food and experience. Service was great, everyone was very welcoming. Great portions and the food was the best soul food I’ve ever had, no lie! Easily a 10/10

    If I could leave zero starts I would. The staff was very rude and not helpful our table was forgotten many times. Overall terrible experience but hey maybe they just felt like treating us that way.

    This is an amazing soul food restaurant. Be sure to try the chard okra. We really enjoyed the people and the service.

    This was my first visit and it was a Saturday where both brunch and dinner was being served. I had several items I wanted to try. I ordered the fried chicken with collard greens in candied yams. I got to taste both the dinner rolls and the cornbread. Both so yummy. I’ll definitely be back sometime.
