I enjoyed everything from the first step into the door. The music level was great the ambiance made the place warm and inviting.

The food was amazing. There was a hiccup in our reservation but our server Meg was beyond amazing and accommodating. We had a party of 15 and she did not miss a beat. Excellent food and vibes. Thank you Meg you made my birthday a night to remember.

Not worth the trip for me. Staff was attentive and great. Food was mediocre. I got the greens waffle was good chicken was just ok but wing not cooked enough. Chicken not cleaned enough as I could bite down a chew on the inclines fat under the skin. My friend enjoyed the black eyed peas and grits.

**Review of Fixins Soul Kitchen, Detroit** I can’t say enough good things about Fixins! Every single thing we ordered was absolutely amazing. The oxtails were fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor. The collard greens had just the right balance of seasoning, and the mac and cheese? Perfectly cheesy and creamy—comfort food at its best! To top it off, we had the red velvet cake for dessert, and it was so moist and rich, it melted in my mouth. The drinks were just as incredible—the kool-aid was sweet and nostalgic, and the cocktails were creative and delicious. If you're looking for authentic soul food in Detroit with a vibe that makes you feel at home, Fixins is the spot! 10/10, highly recommend!

The restaurant is nice. However, the food was not great, edible. The biggest issue we had was with the service. Our reservation was at 5:30pm and we were seated at 5:45pm and then was asked to leave at 7:00pm because we had been there too long. In fact, the manager stood behind our table until we left, which I thought was unprofessional and rude given that it was not a busy night for the restaurant. If this is a rule, then this should have been made very clear before seating us. It seams that the expectation is "fast food" and no conversation.

This was me and my wife's first experience and it was wonderful. We both tasted ood down home Southern country FIXINS. It surely won't be our last.💯🔥💜

Our waitress Keyy was amazing and very personable. She took care of us and was attentive. She made our party of 11 seem small and intimate. We will be back!!
