Fixins is a beautiful restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere, I just don’t think they’re equipped for larger parties at this time. With it being a newer restaurant I highly suggest going with a reservation, especially on the weekends. I had a party of 8, arrived on time for our reservation & waited close to 35 minutes to be seated, after making complaints to the manager. They tried to squeeze my party of 8 in a 6 person booth, upon noticing how uncomfortable we all looked they moved us to another area of the restaurant, where another issue arose being that another larger party was coming in. There was a lot of miscommunication between the hostess and other employees concerning seating within the restaurant. The hostess struggle with seat placement to maximize party seating and restaurant efficiency. Overall the food is about 8/10. Some items on the menu are a little overpriced. I feel as though for $24 the catfish meal should come with at least two pieces of fish. Half of my party received their meals first and the other half of the table had to wait 20-25 minutes for their meals to come. I think at the moment they are overbooking. Time slots should be removed or staggered to allow for a better experience. I would not return until the hype dies down a little and the restaurant can flow more appropriately.

We had a great time that Fixins we will definitely be coming back. Food was great. Service was great atmosphere great so definitely we will be back.

Food was excellence. Greens were the best, macaroni and cheese was ok, pork chops delicious.

If I had to scale it on a one out of 10 I’ll give the restaurant with prices, food and everything and average six I think for the prices you should get a little more food

The food was excellent! Our waiter Johnny was very personable. The atmosphere was nostalgic. It was a VIBE!

Everything was perfect the chicken was seasoned to perfection. Sides were amazing. 10/10 I will definitely be back

We had a reservation and were seated upon arrival. The hostess was very nice and welcoming. Our server, G, was phenomenal. It was our first visit and we will be back. Everything we tried was delicious.
