                                                                          The food is very hit or miss at this place and the execution does not match the promise of the menu descriptions. The fried chicken is not good at all. Soggy, fatty thighs. Not drizzled but rather brushed all over with honey. Comes with a cold kale salad. The steak on the other hand was great. Biscuits good; little gem salad comes covered with shredded, orange cheddar cheese, very weird. The pecan pie had a dense, inedible crust. Service and ambience though are too notch. They have a good cocktail menu.

                                                                          The food at Fixe is always phenomenal. And the ambiance is so lovely. This is my go to spot for taking my parents when they come to town and they always want to go back instead of trying anywhere new.

                                                                          We took my son for his 18th birthday. We indicated on the reservation that it was his birthday. They did not acknowledge the event. There may have been a breakdown in communication between the reservation staff and server. We tried to tell the server just in case, but he didn’t pick up on it. May be that they don’t celebrate those occasions there. In my opinion the food was average at best. I did also order a cocktail that was more ice than anything. Anyway, can’t imagine we will be back, way too many amazing options in the area for us to venture another try.

                                                                          Food was horrible. Service was 15 minutes to greet, 45 min to get an overpriced McDonalds biscuit that had been sitting out for probably 10 minutes before arriving at table. Gave it a second shot, but will never go back.

                                                                          One of our favorite Friday night date spot for happy hour. We absolute love our bartenders, Sam and Colin. So attentive to details and remembers our favorite drinks and food! The fried catfish and burger on the happy hour menu along with hush puppies and deviled eggs are the best. Such a gem in the Clearfork area. .

                                                                          We requested a table for 7 away from other tables if able and the restaurant went above and beyond to give us a table in a quiet secluded area. Our server was attentive and her recommendations were on point. Food was served very quickly and delicious!
