We arrived having been told the place was 100% accessible. Although there is a flattened curb, all signs point to an entrance that only has stairs! We went to the front door which was locked. My husband was inside and he spoke to a server who cheerfully let us in through the front door. This is not accessibility but, perhaps more importantly, extremely unwelcoming. Remedying this situation should be a priority. Our server was friendly and the food was tasty but some instructions on proper serving are needed.

Very slow service. They appeared very understaffed. Food took over 60min to arrive from the time of order and was just ok

This was the fourth time that I have had a meal at 587 since the restaurant opened only a few months ago! It is now my favourite restaurant. This time we had the calamari appetizer - easily could have been an entree- perfectly prepared with a very light batter and dipping sauce. The seafood papardelle is apparently a menu favourite already - and now we understand why. The brownies with chocolate gelato are decadent ( easily shared with a friend) as is the cheesecake. For my first dining experience here I had the Peruvian chicken, which convinced me to come again! The mushroom ravioli last time - yum! The ambiance is lovely - lots of windows which keep the area bright, easy to carry on a conversation even when the restaurant is almost full, the outside patio is set well away from the street - you really feel that the city is far away even though the restaurant is right off of Oxford. plenty of parking. The servers are always very friendly and seem to enjoy working here. I have not met the chef but kudos!!

Have eaten here a few times, staff are excellent, food is great and one of the owners usually comes by the table to ensure your enjoying your experience. Meals are a bit pricey (two ceaser salads, two drinks, two mains and dessert was approx. $200).

Found this restaurant by chance and very happy we did. We came late but they were very accommodating. Nice decor, chill atmosphere, friendly service and great food. We will definitely return!

Nice dinner with friends. 6 of us. Service was excellent. One dinner was a little overcooked but they took it off the bill.

Celebrated a 75th birthday with family. Came in early so not too busy yet. Our server was wonderful and knowledgeable. We even had the chef come out to say hello and a brief chat. We were impressed with the menu. So many choices that further visits are required. Meals were perfectly prepared and well presented. And the taste…. Oh so good. Thoroughly enjoyed appetizers and main courses. And the desserts. Wow. Wow. You must save room for any one of them. Indoors was moderately busy when we left and the patio was quite busy. We plan to come back.
