Proprietors, Chef Ernst Dorfler and Gerry Sayers invite you to experience their unforgettable combination of breathtaking views of Vancouver, fresh and fabulous 4 Diamond award winning cuisine and gracious hospitality in their beautiful, private restaurant located inside the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

The Five Sails features world class dining in an unmatched setting with stunning views of the water, mountains, and Stanley Park. There is an intimate private dining room for up to 20 guests, a chic bar/lounge area with modern fireplace and the addition of cozy, elevated booths for more relaxed dining.

Proprietors, Chef Ernst Dorfler and his wife Gerry Sayers offer their hands on attention to detail with beautifully presented continental cuisine on their seasonal a la carte menu, vegetarian menu & Chef's Tasting menu with wine pairings selected by Sommelier, Ramon Fresneda.

The Christmas dinner special was spectacular and don't forget to bring a full wallet!! The 5 course meal was absolutely spectacular with the tenderloin and the scallops stealing the show. Michael, our server was on the ball, funny and attentive but not overly. The rest of the staff were on point as well with everything and we had 6 people to the table with every one of them engaging and efficient with their service. The star of the show however was the general manager, Jason who made us Cafe Diabos at the table. Jason was spot on with his origin story and the history here in Vancouver. He repeated the same spectacular show at at least 6 tables and one of them asking for the event twice! It is a must visit for everyone that is out of a special evening in Vancouver. Plan for this one!

The Five Sails has always been our favourite restaurant, so deciding to go there with my family for Christmas Tea was an easy decision. The restaurant staff were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure we were well attended to. The food was excellent and the service fantastic, meeting all of our expectations. We were seated promptly on arrival and were not rushed in any way. There was more delectable sweets than we could come close to finishing, so staff kindly boxed and bagged the treats that remained.

Perfect location for a special occasion. Service was top notch as always. Jesse was our server and he was super friendly, attentive, professional, and had a great smile. I don't think I have met a server with a more pleasant attitude than him. The other staff were just as great and enjoyed interacting with customers. We were there for the Christmas afternoon tea today - food and drinks were excellent, just as we had expected. We did not leave disappointed at all. Would highly recommend :)

Dined first time at Five Sails and it could not have been better. What a lovely experience; celebrated my wifes birthday and the entire experience was just wonderful. Shout out to Michael who assisted us throughout our dining experience and he was exceptional. You will be very warmly welcomed by Laura; exceptional assistance from her as well.
