Food was fantastic! I ordered a filet mignon done medium, with the mashed potatoes and broccolini. The steak was maybe the best I've ever had. The potatoes were incredible. They brought smoked flaky sea salt with the food which I loved. Server was very attentive and knowledgeable. Restaurant was very clean and ambiance was nice. I can't wait to return!

The food was delicious! Appropriately priced. Most were polite, the manager was FANTASTIC!!! As soon as we walked in she wished Happy Birthday to my daughter. She checking in with us several times. I ordered the Branzino. Since there was not a stock side, and it seemed like the flavor profile was citrusy, i asked for a suggestion from the waiter and he became annoyed. He opted to give us more time. This was the first time I have experienced this. He did keep the wine glasses full. By the time we were done the valet was closed. The manager escorted us and found someone to retrieve our vehicle. She then waited with us! She was amazing! Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed an anniversary dinner. It was a weekday night restaurant was only about a quarter capacity, but service was still a bit on the slow side, food was wonderful, recommend the smoked Manhattan, fillet, brussels sprouts, and baked potato with guerre cheese. One negative is the noise, being able to listen to somebody’s conversation four tables down. They need some type of noise absorbing enhancements in my opinion.

We are long time residents of Fredericksburg and have been to all of the steakhouses in the area. We were looking for something new and found 5 Chophouse. We had reservations and were seated immediately. The wait staff was friendly, conversational and very efficient. We had wine, appetizers, steak and desserts. All were excellent. We thought it was a good value and as good or better than others in the area. They are only a month old so not everything is perfect but the full experience made it worth while. We will be going back. Recommend highly!

The entire experience was great. The food from appetizers to dessert was amazing. The steak was perfectly cooked, everything came out without delay. Looking forward to the next dinner here.
