Fishworks - Swallow Street is an absolute essential for seafood lovers. The restaurant offers a traditional wet fish counter where you can buy fish to take home and cook yourself, or you can select any fish or crustacean with our fishmonger and have it cooked there and then to your liking.

This chic stylish restaurant is only minutes away from the bustle of Piccadilly hidden away in an exclusive street. The whole restaurant opens its glass window façade doors creating a fantastic atmosphere great for corporate dining and enjoying a pre-theatre meal before hitting the West End.

Blackboards display our daily landings or diners can choose from our classic menu with delights such as piled-high fruits de mer, scrumptious South Coast scallops or simply the best gourmet cod and chips you will ever taste!

We had been to the Covent Garden restaurant but we're in a hurry and promised ourselves we would go back with a little more time. We were late lunch, so the restaurant was quiet. The food was excellent; two starters - moules marinière and devilled whitebait were both good. The mains were monkfish (very good), seafood platter ( bream, sea bass, scallop and prawns was also very good) and tuna (outstanding). The one dessert, raspberry crumble was very good. It's not cheap (3 x 2 courses and a bottle of wine for £185) but we all enjoyed our meal and have had worse costing more!

Toujours aussi bon. Le poisson est excellent, la carte variée et les vins abordables.

Excellent lunch time meal. The fish was incredible and the staff was very attentive. It was a little bit expensive but the bottle of wine heavily contributed to the overall cost :)

Very fresh fish cooked very well. Great to have the roe cooked with the scallop.

We dined in a large group of 9. The food was superb. Lobsters, crabs, halibut fish and chips, dover sole, steak and sharing platters were all great quality and delicious. Service was good too. Will definitely go again. And a birthday brownie and ice cream for mum’s birthday!

Had the bouillabaise which was good if a little under-seasoned for my taste. The staff however were not so great. The hostess in my area was enjoying a personal conversation with a group of customers on another table. The restaurant was quiet as this was after the lunchtime rush, but It was difficult to get her attention or service. I was given a bottle of tepid water and when I asked for ice, I was given 2 ice cubes and she went back to her conversation. When I asked for a drink it was unceremoniously ‘dumped’ in front of me and she returned to her conversation. Altogether a bad experience. She seemed irritated- every time I ‘interrupted’ her to ask for service.
