Fishwife offers a menu of award-winning American cuisine with a Caribbean accent since 1986. With many daily specials, fresh Seafood as well as homemade pastas and dishes for children, there is something for everyone. Daily specials spotlight fresh catch and seasonal fish. Desserts are homemade as well. The atmosphere is casual with a FULL BAR and friendly service, making it a great place to visit with groups and family. Just a short walk from Asilomar Beach and Conference Center. Some of the most popular dishes are Clam chowder, Calamari, Alfredo Combo, Green Lip Mussels, Barramundi and famous homemade Key lime pie. Very noisy asked to be moved somewhere where there was so many kids screaming and yelling place was a zoo. Not a great nice place for adults to come and food was fair at best

The server was very knowledgeable about key dishes they recommend. The flavors were on point! It’s a hidden gem that would likely be busier if the location was in a different place. Not complaining though, we enjoyed our quiet meal. And clearly the place has a name for itself because people kept coming in to dine.

Last time I had dinner at the Fishwife was 30 years ago. On a recent trip, we dined there again. It was fantastic. Super fresh seafood, great salad, great service and reasonable priced. We noticed a lot of locals eating there as well.

Fishwife is one of our favorite restaurants, so everytime we visit Pacific Grove we stop by. The food is delicious, we usually order the calamari steak abaloni style and a couple of desserts. The staff is friendly and provide good service.

I thought the food was good but could definitely notice a large increase in all the prices . Not sure 2 dinners and 1 drink should cost $ 100.00.

Food and service is always excellent. Eating inside can be noisy, so we prefer outside. The seafood is very fresh and they know how to cook it.

Perfection! We had the prawns over lobster ravioli, seafood Alfredo, oysters, and a seafood salsa with garlic bread. Everything was great! We'll be coming back.
