    Server did not tell us about the specials and we overheard her telling a nearby table. We would have preferred one of the specials but weren’t given the option.

    The fisherman has made a comeback and we’ve enjoyed it several times now since Memorial Day. Calmari was delicious as was the seared tuna salad, grilled chicken sandwich and fish and chips. Be sure to ask for the fries on the side if ordering the latter as it typically comes fish on top, which tends to make the crispy fries not so crisp. Waterfront seating is great but inside has great views too!

    Great food, atmosphere, waitstaff & location. A bit on the high side but worth it. This has become a favorite spot of ours while staying in Mystic.

    We went on Saturday night, party of five. Started with calamari, delicious, tender and came with two sauces. For entrees three of us had Coquilles St. Jacques, one had fish and chips, and one seared tuna. All enjoyed. For dessert, three had chocolate peanut butter torte, one chocolate cake with raspberries, and one key lime pie. All delicious. Another happy meal!

    Everything was great except for the tasteless asparagus. We got over it quickly with everything else being great. The baked stuffed lobster was pricey ($70 each) but it was a very special occasion of I guess it wasn't a big deal. The bisque was delicious too. We'll probably return at some point although it's a good two hours drive from home. Beautiful area too but if you're looking to shop and stroll you really have to go to Mystic which isn't far. Groton Long Point is residential and while the houses and harbor was scenic, no place to park unless you lived or stayed there. First time there and didn't know...

    Our party ordered two fish and chips, one fisherman’s platter and one lobster dinner. All of the meals came quickly. The fish was fabulous coated with a very light batter. The owner came by and checked on our table. He asked if we would like the lobster dinner cut open in the kitchen instead of cracking it which we had done

    I haven’t had a lobster roll this good in YEARS! Beautiful restaurant, amazing location. Friendly staff and food was excellent. Cocktails, yummy! Kudos to all staff and administration.

    The quality of food is very good. Nice atmosphere, especially being on the water. However, the service left a lot to be desired. Girls at reception were very slow in checking us in. They saw us standing at the podium, but did not acknowledge us until I purposely spoke up. We waited for a waitress for close to 20 minutes before she came to get our drink and appetizer order. It then took another 20 minutes for our drinks to be delivered. We had also placed an order for wine to go along with our dinner. The wine was never delivered. We made sure to cancel so as not to get billed. Service needs much improvement. There seemed to be enough wait staff, but they are very slow in greeting and serving.
