First time customers looking for some seafood and amazing views. We dined on Labor Day and I was impressed with the quality and taste of everything we had. A few standouts were the clam chowder (some of the best I’ve had) and the lobster bisque. The stuffed flounder was incredible and the service was great. The view can’t be beat and I really enjoyed walking across the street to the little beach afterward. Highly recommend.

It was nice to sit outside since the restaurant is by the water. The view was lovely. It took a little while for the waitress to take our order and bring out the food. The Salmon and linguine with clams was delicious. The lobster bisque was not great and the clam chowder was ok. I would not recommend ordering them. The staff is very nice and very busy.

We are local. Love that we can get a table during peak tourist season. Always good food and good service. Yummy lobster rolls!

Calamari was the best I ever had-loster panini very good, my only complaint- is an iced tea really 5.50? My fault for not examining the bill

We enjoyed our lunch at The Fisherman. We had a table with a water view, the server was helpful and efficient, and the food was nice--not outstanding, but definitely good. The noise level was high, not because there were too many people in the room, but because the canned music was loud. I found it surprising that there were as many non-seafood dishes on the menu, and while the shellfish was probably sourced locally, the fish dishes didn't seem to be. Most of the locally sourced shellfish offerings were listed as "market price," which means they're quite expensive.

Beautiful scenery sitting outside. I would give 5 stars but the chowder was terrible. The linguine with clam sauce was excellent, as were the scallops. Unfortunately, there was a woman next to us behind me that only stopped talking when she ate something, but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. I love clam chowder, and it was so disappointing to have my only chance to have a bowl be so bad.

Went for dinner as we were visiting Mystic, CT for my daughter’s third birthday. The view was great. The food was good. I think it would have been better if it were brought out more timely. Some things were cold by the time they got to us and the kids ice creams were half melted by the time they got to us. They did sing happy birthday to our daughter which was nice. I’d go back but I think they need more staff. They seemed understaffed and overwhelmed.

We have had consistently good experiences here. The food is well prepared, generous portions and the service is very good. We'll continue to come back

Fantastic as always. Great Fish Tacos. The White Sangria was very delicious and refreshing. Plus cannot beat the view. Service is always outstanding.

We’ve eaten here before, the food has always been very good. This particular night was not busy, but service was very slow. Waited quite a bit for wait staff to come to our table, then another long wait for our drinks. Appetizers and food also took longer than expected. While everyone’s food was tasty and hot, one of the meals was not properly described on the menu and included something that was not listed as part of the dish. That portion was not eaten ($40 meal). This was kindly brought to the attention of the wait staff, and we did receive an apology. We probably should have sent it back and not picked what could be eaten. Hopefully the menu will be amended, but if anyone has dietary restrictions, they should bring it to the attention of the waitstaff. Overall, we were a bit disappointed this visit.
