Fish Shop is a casual restaurant with a great atmosphere. Showcasing fresh and sustainable seafood, salads and vegetable dishes, alongside natural wine and cocktails. Starters include daily crudo, coral trout tostada's and prawn cigar's and, the famed grilled calamari with fermented chili, garlic oil and sourdough is always a winner. Mains include classic grilled fish and condiments, seafood pasta, and a daily whole fish.

Fish Shop has sun kissed outdoor seating and a cosy in door vibe with lots of natural light.

We stopped in on Father's Day and had a delicious and fulfilling meal. Oysters, anchovy toast, seafood pasta… Everything was terrific and well-prepared.

Incredible food! Booked on a whim as they were the only place with availability after the City 2 Surf, but I think we’ve found our new go to restaurant/cafe. Gorgeous food and lovely staff. Pumpkin was to die for!! Also great for coeliacs/gluten free eaters.

Delicious calamari, definitely a favourite every time. The tartare, salad and chips were also yum too. Great ambiance, perfect for a date night or evening with friends. Lovely service, the Italian server is particularly great!

So much salt in the food, and mains came out burnt.

Flavours were off and did not match especially the anchovy toast which we have had before. some dishes were served cold like the "charred" broccolini which tasted like gross old oil, the stems were not cooked through and unpleasant to eat. The oysters were tiny and had no meat, no brine, mineral, creaminess or umami - the soy vinaigrette was very overpowering. We like Fishop but we did not enjoy our meal, compounded by the fact we were the only 2 in the restaurant sitting at the bar turning away half eaten plates and receiving no sympathetic response from waitstaff as to why we weren't finishing dishes. All up a bit of let down, we have been coming since opening but I think it may be time we look for other Bondi options.

Great food , downside is one ice cream dessert option , no coffee / tea as we would of loved to stay longer to sit and chat and no mention anywhere on website that they are cashless and they made it difficult to split the bill

We ordered starters and mains, including a child meal. 1 starter arrived after 40 mins and when asking about the other starters and the child meal we were told the kitchen is really busy and we are just gonna have to deal with it. Eventually after 1h10m our mains arrived and still no starters. After asking for them 3 more times they advised that the waiter should have told us that they don’t actually have that starter on the menu tonight. At no point did anyone come up to our table to apologise or offer an explanation. Pretty poor experience for decent food, which ended with a $250 bill. Don’t recommend it one bit.

Went for a late meal on a hot Monday night. Restaurant was VERY warm which made it somewhat uncomfortable. Food was fabulous as always. Wine was chilled and tasty. Service a little lacklustre. I felt like I was an imposition on the server. But perhaps it was because it was the last sitting of a hot evening. Will go again.
