   Fish on Parkyn is a fantastic place for a delicious seafood meal presented by excellent staff. In particular the seafood chowder and the prawns were outstanding.

   Some very noisy groups ruined the ambience. Another able dropped a salt shaker and it smashed. Staff slow to clean the glass and then whilst standing up for it to be swept from under my seat, the other staff went to walk through the glass and served my meal. After asking the other waiter to sweep under my seat (at this point my food is on the table and I’m still standing), he said in a minute, until I pointed out my food is on the table. Drink service slow, ciabatta plain and slightly burnt, Moreton bay bug linguine amazing but serve was small. Another pasta at the table was twice the size.

   We decided on this restaurant for the seafood experience and we weren’t disappointed. The scallop and prawn entree was delicious and the snapper main dish did not let us down. A lovely restaurant with attentive staff.

   Our fav whenever in town and looking for super fresh fish and seafood. Consistently high standard and well worth the few extra $’s to have a delicious, freshly cooked, local ingredient meal! A rare find even in a seaside town!!

   Food was fabulous and the staff were attentive but not annoying asking all the time if we wanted anything else. Would return again very soon.

   Food and service was great. Just the right amount of attention from staff. Deserts on the expensive side but substantial and very good.

   3rd time here for the whole snapper in tamarind sauce & it didn’t disappoint! Wonderful dish. Also had the semolina crusted calamari & it was delicious. Friendly warm service. Great wine list. Highly recommended 👌

   This was our return visit after a challenging 1st visit on Valentines Day. we were greeted by name and escorted to our table in a nice quiet corner with a view of the street. Our drinks order was taken quickly and brought to our table. I ordered the Squid appetiser and my husband the Scallops and neither disappointed. The flavour of the scallops with the mango puree was excellent, and the squid was cooked to perfection My main was the perch crumbed fish with fries and salad and my hubby ordered the eye fillet. The fries were done exactly as I ordered, extra brown and hot. They remained hot until the end of our meal. they were excellent. My fish was extremely tasty and nicely cooked and flavourful - I couldn't eat it all so was given a take out along with a fresh piece of lemon to enjoy it with at home. My husbands eye fillet was cooked to perfection medium rare and very tender. He enjoyed the braised green beans sauted in garlic as well. thank you for acknowledging our distress from our first visit and asking us to return as this visit was enjoyable from start to finish. We will return again - to once again try the prawn dishes and enjoy a dessert that we had no room for at this visit.
